I liked that they had a night security officer. Everyone was very nice.

Basic room. Nothing special. Deadbolt did not work on room. Room had a refrigerator and nice towels. No breakfast and vending machines are out of order.

Came to understand after we checked out that the hotel uses some rooms as a half-way house. We were wondering what was up when there was an armed security officer in the lobby at 6 p.m. when we checked in and at 9:30 p.m. when we returned to the hotel.

I don’t want to be too negative. It’s probably about right for the price. Apparently “under new ownership.” It felt slightly sketchy, unkempt, smelly, outdated. The staff was taking smoke breaks outside our window. It’s the type of place you try not to think too much about touching things, carpet, comforter, furniture, etc.
