Stunning scenery
Publié le 24 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayFantastic accommodation in a spectacular setting. Every comfort you could need at this accommodation. In a very convenient location mid way between Launceston and Beaconsfield. Would totally recommend to other travellers.

Lovely Home on the River
Publié le 3 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is a new very nicely designed home on the river a half hour north of Launceston. Very quiet and comfortable home. I'm not giving it a 5 star rating as the windows in the second bedroom couldn't open as the key was lost, was stuffy and would have been lovely to listen to the waves.
Two bedrooms are master suites and separated by a living room. Nice layout. Kitchen ware is quality and nice to cook with.
Only negatives: beds could be king sized. Its isolated from town and many animals get hit on the roads so we didn't feel like we could go in for dinner. There is also not much of a beach to walk on and the dock nearby says "closed for repair".
Small issues. House is one of the nicer VRBO homes we have rented in our 5 months of traveling around Australia. Launceston town is great, farmers market, restaurants, coffee shops, Great drives close by. Manager very kind and nice to work with.

The view is amazing from nearly every room, even the large luxurious bathrooms !
Beds were so comfortable and all kitchen needs were there.
Communication with Sam regarding our booking was easy. 10/10. Thank you

Great for unwinding
Publié le 8 janv. 2021 sur HomeAwayThis is just such a lovely house. We stayed here for the last 2 nights of a 2 week holiday, and it was perfect for unwinding after a busy couple of weeks. It’s a quiet area, but if you’re after peace and relaxation this house has that in spades. Try the outdoor shower overlooking the river!
Great communication from the host, too. Nice proximity to Devonport for arrivals or departures by boat, and only half an hour from Launceston as well.

Absolutely Beautiful

Everything in the house is finished off beautifully & the views from each room in the property are gorgeous. Such a relaxing place to enjoy a nice getaway. We loved that this place was secluded but wasn't a long drive to go to a restaurant near by and only 25 minutes in to Launceston.
Sam was wonderful to deal with and we would love to return to this property in the future. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a getaway to the Boathouse.
