Tired and Grubby
Publié le 18 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is in need of maintenance, paint and a proper clean. The property is not suited to motorcyclists as the drive is steep and does not end on the flat. A garage is shown but is not available for use as it is full of furniture.
Internally, blinds are missing from the western windows, a number of light globes needed replacing and perhaps worst of all, the toilet door appeared to be smeared with faecal matter and bathroom showed signs of mould on the ceiling.

We are all for constructive feedback however this is most disappointing. The garage has never been offered in 9 years of hosting. I provided them with a very early check in straight off the boat (6 hours early) at no extra cost (always happy to help where we can) and then receive a message about the garage. I go the extra mile and head to the house to unlock a side gate to store motorbikes around the back under cover. At no time was I given any thanks for the early check in or the extra service - it seems some people can't be pleased. We are always happy to receive feedback but this is quite ridiculous.

House for the whole family
Publié le 13 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house was very large and accommodated our entire group but it only had 2 bathrooms and this was a inconvenience at times.
We also found that the lighting in the lounge, dinning and kitchen to be a bit dark for our liking, but changing to brighter light globes and cleaning the light covers will fix this.
The games room was large and roomy but looked very tired. Could do with a touch up.
You also need to install a dryer.
Overall it was a nice place to stay.

Family wedding

We had family traveling from the UK that arrived before check in and Chris was kind enough to let us check in a little early. The property is as described. Plenty of room and loved the deck. Aircon was very helpful as well. The grandkids loved the games room downstairs. The only downsides for us were there wasn’t enough forks (9 or 10) and crockery (plates). This meant we had to hand wash or use the dishwasher very frequently. Also the internet was very slow and kept timing out. My daughter was trying to work during the stay and it was very difficult with the internet. It’s a great property though and we would recommend.

Plenty of space..

Great house in a very convenient location
Publié le 14 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy children and i had a great stay. Enjoyed a day trip out to Splash and Ten Pin Bowling, which was only a very short drive away.
Kids loved playing 8ball in the downstairs game room.
Would definitely stay again.
