Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were right on top of the ocean and a fun, pretty backyard. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Just lovely. Can’t wait to get back there.

3 houses rom beach- great location
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location is great. The landlords are nice, but they live right upstairs, so they are always around. The house was a bit musty—mold and mildew were growing on the walls. This is definitely not good for anyone with respiratory or allergy issues—my son got sick. The temperature is very difficult to control—the AC comes in from the third floor, and there are also window units—more cold than hot, which is good, I guess. Backyard while nice, attracts many bugs/ flying insects due to pond/ fountain making it very buggy. There was a leak from the ceiling into one bedroom and the kitchen. Very old looking inside and not bright enough lighting at nighttime. While convenient, have rented better places in Dewey for sure. Dog fee was astronomical- much higher that I have had to pay anywhere else.

4th of July Week
Publié le 11 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayDell and Larry were such gracious and sweet hosts. We absolutely loved their home and cannot say enough about it. It was very clean and spacious. I think the beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on at the beach and we go away every year. The backyard was so amazing. Our dog loved their dog Mollie and is so sad to be back home. We all enjoyed our stay so much, we didn’t want to leave. You can’t beat the location as well. All of our friends are now fighting over who is going to rent it next time. We are so happy that we made lifelong friends with Dell and Larry as well.

We had a great time!

The big fenced in backyard was fantastic and it was great to have since we brought our dog. The owners were so friendly and responsive. The beach was just a short walk away. We enjoyed many early morning and evening walks on the beach at times when dogs are allowed.

Excellent beach option
Publié le 23 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had an excellent stay here for a family trip. There are certain things that could be done to make the house better*, but overall it met our needs. The location can’t be beat and we would come back. The backyard area was also fabulous.
*It’s got a lot of extra decor, fake plants, and furniture that take up space needlessly and make moving in our stuff for an extended stay (with babies) a bit of a pain. There was also a large stain on the living room wall that looks like mold but might just be water damage or old wallpaper glue. Regardless, a little Killz and paint and it would not have been a second thought for us when we started getting a little stuffy. Small rugs/mats could use to be washed.
Communication was great and we had a nice time.

Great Beach House

It has a huge fenced in backyard, which was great for the dogs, and relaxing. It was just a short walk to the beach and town.
