Another great Dewey vacation
Publié le 9 août 2023 sur HomeAwayClose to the beach. Quiet. Spacious, breezy balcony overlooking spacious and well-appointed back yard. New kitchen appliances. Great location for the dog too, with access to fenced-in yard plus easy walk to the beach. Perfect for another memorable family beach vacation.

Shortest walk to the Beach!!
Publié le 25 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayGreat place and very attentive owners! Had everything we needed. Was the first time in awhile we had to bring sheets, towels, food, etc but the place was great. It was truly 100 yrds to the beach and very convenient for in town restaruants and easy to walk to all places! Dell & Larry were very accommodating.

Excellent Location!
Publié le 8 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis is a tough review to write because this apartment is literally 4 houses from the beach and in such a wonderful location. You could walk to so much and it was really, really convenient. However, the property needs a good amount of TLC in order to look like the pictures in the listing. The yard is overgrown and the patio furniture is worn from being out in the weather. The front door also needs to be lifted in order to close correctly. My conversations with the owner were very friendly and the apartment is a good place for a weekend, though, so maybe this is because it was the end of the season.

We appreciate your choosing to stay with us and are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. As you know we have not been able to be at the property for a while because I had extensive hip repair surgery and our apartment is on the third floor and I am still not allowed to do stairs. The yard has always been my passion but for the time being, I am unable to do that but I do have someone I can call to weed. I'm not sure why you say the apartment does not look like the pictures since the pictures show everything in the apartment just as it is other than the coffee table is a new oval white wicker one instead of the square one, The floor in the living room and the kitchen is new this year, and the bathroom was remodeled this year with a larger more spacious shower and new floor. One difference from the pictures is that the beds are shown made with our comforters but due to COVID, we were told to remove them. We do have cleaners that come in and clean after each tenant and have had no complaints. As far as the door is concerned had you let us know there was a problem it would have been taken care of right away. We can't take care of problems if you don't tell us. I do encourage our guests to let us know of problems as we want them to be comfortable and happy while staying with us. Sorry, we did not live up to your liking.

The perfect beach week
Publié le 13 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayIt was our first time at Dewey beach, and we loved it. The location of the rental cannot be beat unless you're staying right on the beach itself. Very convenient for my 77 yo mother who has arthritis and trouble walking. We could get a beach wheelchair for her at the lifeguard stand, but since we were so close, she preferred to walk on her own. Apartment had everything we needed. I would say it's more suited for 4 people as it gets a bit crowded with the pull out couch. Larry was so nice and had great recommendations. We loved all the dogs that we met at the house and on the beach! We will be back for sure!
