The weather was chilly and rainy, so we couldn't spend much time outdoors, but sure did sit by the windows alot. Sunsets and full moon over the water was just beautiful. We drove up to see the Boldt castle and spent a day in that area. We would come back in an instant if it was closer. Sure glad it was available when we needed it. Price was right.

Lakehouse getaway

From the kitchen to the living quarters, we had everything needed for the comforts of home. The lakefront deck was so relaxing for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The shore road is a great, safe, route for walking and bicycling. We will definitely return. Heather is a message away for any needs. We had none!

10/10 beautiful and relaxing
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay! I can’t think of a thing that house did not have. It was the cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in! Any questions we had were quickly answered by the host. The views were amazing. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Wish I would have booked us a longer stay!

Excellent quiet retreat
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation is 5 stars for view and neighborhood. Four stars is just a heads up that the big stores are a little farther than you might be used to, and as the host says, there can be a lot of deer to avoid.
Everything else is ideal. The kitchen is exceptionally well-appointed, and she has anticipated nearly every need.

Lake house

A Hidden Gem
Publié le 19 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayLakehouse at Pillar Post is a property that is well loved. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage we rented was adorable and very well maintained providing incredible views of Lake Ontario from several windows and the deck. It’s a perfect place to kick back and relax. There are several state parks nearby—for hiking, fishing (world class), and swimming. The owners thought of everything. They were quick to respond to any questions we had. We give Lakehouse at Pillar Point our highest recommendation.
