Pour : Friendly and professional staff, very welcoming
Contre : Bathrooms are a bit dated, need refreshing. The Jacuzzi was out of order.
No iron or iron board in room or to order from reception, had to wear crease
Emplacement : Close to shops and restaurants. In Banani, which is a really nice part of Dhaka.
Easy booking, quick check-in, friendly staff, offered a refreshing cold drink, doors opened for you, luggage taken to room.

Publié le 4 août 2017 sur HotelsExcellent stay ,very very helpful staff,Francis Xavier assistant manager was helpful full of sound advise and organised courtesy car ,excellent friendly driver,the most crazy traffic system in the world and he got through it just fine,wonderful lady at the front desk always willing to help,restaurant free breakfast was very good,,my flight was two hours late and i assumed the arranged driver will have come and gone ,i took an old battered up car to take me to my hotel ,i jumped out after 2 mins and returned to the terminal ,NEVER make this mistake ,take an an arranged means of transport to and from the airport ,all round an excellent trip mainly due to this hotel ,

Publié le 26 févr. 2017 sur Hotels酒店服务真的很好,他们都比较周到,可能订的房间小了,感觉很小很拥挤,另外没配套牙膏牙刷拖鞋的,自己买了牙膏牙刷,后面晚上才发现没拖鞋让前台拿了双过来,速度很快。还有房子有蚊子,发现这个国家蚊子好多,哪里都有,酒店已经每个房间都喷杀虫剂的了,但是晚上睡觉还是有蚊子,受不了。

Publié le 14 nov. 2014 sur HotelsUpon arrival at the hotel, my pre-paid, five-day stay at the hotel was refused based on the hotel's unfavorable commercial relations with Expedia.com, none of which, in my view, should have come into play regarding an innocent client. I was obliged to search for another lodging and therefore I have no comments to make about the de Castle Hotel. It seemed to be fine from the lobby; booking them online in the future, if I were to decide to stay there, would be out of the question because of the unreliability of such a transaction with them. Emplacement : nothing! I don't recommend this hotel to anyone!
Travelling from the UK,we had booked our stay through Expedia. Payment was paid in full and my card had already been charged.
We arranged for the hotel to pick us up from the airport as it offers complimentary airport pick up service. Upon check in we were asked to pay for our stay as they did not receive payment from Expedia. Our accommodation was booked on the 13th August and after receiving email confirmation I directly called the hotel to confirm the booking and which they confirmed 'yes'. Prior to that I also emailed them directly but no reply. As we were making our way over from the UK on the 16th August, the hotel decides to email Expedia and apparently the telephone no. for Expedia doesn't connect but when i tried it from their hotel it connected without any issues. Anyways... they started telling us the issues they were having with Expedia and that they did not confirm our room. They said we should pay them again and ask for a refund from Expedia- they said we are from England so everything is possible, lol what stupid way of thinking! We refused to pay and contacted Expedia. A member from the Expedia team spoke to the hotel manager who refused to co-operate. The hotel went out their way picking us from the airport but if only they had the courtesy to reply to my email or contact me before hand to say that our reservation was not confirmed it would have saved the crap we had take off them after a 16hr journey. Expedia rearranged our accom to a 4* suite.
