-misadvertised free wifi, little to no connection for the wifi in both rooms that we were in -paid for rooms with 2 king size beds and only got 1 Queen and 1 full during our first two nights and 2 full size beds the rest of our stay after our AC broke and we asked for another room -couldnt stay the first night because of a family emergency and traffic which both the hotel and hotel.com refuse to refund that day for the very least -also paid for non smoke rooms and both rooms we stayed at smelled like heavily cigerattes -AC stopped working and we got downgraded to a different room because of it -had to repeatedly ask for towels because the towels that were being brought to us were dirty Note: picture was for the 2nd room with 2 full size beds

Rustig hotel in een rustige buurt van Dhaka.

Pour : De vriendelijkheid en bereidheid van het personeel om je probleem op te lossen. Ook het balkon bij de kamer werd zeer gewaardeerd.
Contre : De bedden in Eastern house zouden beter kunnen
Emplacement : De lokatie is rustig in een Ambassadebuurt en veilig voor toeristen.
Eastern House is een prima hotel om te verblijven in Dhaka. Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en gaat ook met dames zeer respectvol om. Er wordt gewaakt voor je veiligheid. Altijd is er een auto beschikbaar om je ergens heen te brengen. Tijdens mijn vorige verblijf vond ik gefrituurde bloemkool erg lekker. Hoewel het in Bangladesh geen bloemkooltijd is, werd mij gefrituurde bloemkool geserveerd. Heerlijk! Helaas zijn de matrassen op de bedden net planken en is er geen lift aanwezig. Maar verder was alles perfect.

バングラデシュの物価からしてかなりの値段のホテルですが、プレミアムスイートルームでも部屋では次から次えと蚊が発生して夜寝られません…。他のバングラデシュのホテルに泊まったわけではないのでわかりませんが、部屋の作りも通常の国のゲストハウスレベル。エクスペディアでは何度か体験してますが、空港送迎ありと書いてあったのにもちろんお金がかかります…。ここには2度と泊りません。

Disappointed!

Pictures used are deceiving! Rooms are not as good as advertised. Plus every evening i had mosquitoes to welcome be back in the room. Worst experience so far in dealing with one front desk executive named Rashid. He was absolutely ridiculous in his approach and unprofessional. They have advertised about free pick up and drop from and to the airport but i got a shocker when i was given a bill of it. He said the following 3 most ridiculous things which no1 with even basic hotel management or customer service knowledge would ever say! viz., - he had his own interpretation of the statement - Free pick up and drop available on request! He kept arguing that term "on request" qualifies the hotel to deny the request! :D - When i insisted for the free drop i was entitled to, he tells me that now the car is not available.. although the car was right there with my luggage loaded in it. - finally when i insisted on talking to his manager to explain the issue and i was sure by now that Rashid would be of no help. he had the audacity to tell me that the managers phone was switched off even without trying to call him. finally when i raised my voice and his other colleagues had to get involved, they got Rashid to get the manager to talk to me and the issue was resolved. The only solace at the hotel were the staff in the dining room, very courteous and service oriented! they are the only reason for the 2stars which otherwise would only be one.
