I loved staying at the Bliss Dhigurah! At first I was a little apprehensive because it is not a fancy schmancy resort like those that exist on other islands, but I settled in quickly and was very pleased by the accommodations, the staff, and of course, the beach! Please be prepared for no beach chairs or umbrellas (I was lucky to have found a hammock every day). There is a smattering of chairs along the beach but some look like they have been on the beach for decades. I had full board and was very pleased with the food at Hermits. I liked the fact that I didn’t have to think about meals. There are a few restaurants around the hotel but everything is quite expensive (as it is the Maldives, where EVERYTHING is expensive). They also offer excellent daily excursions. I did the Snorkeling Safari and was very happy. Be prepared to swim a lot and potentially get sunburn on your bum! The communication with the hotel was excellent and I felt at ease with all the travel steps it would take to get to Dhigurah. The room was small but comfortable and had a little balcony to dry your towels and swimsuits. I would highly recommend staying at the Bliss Dhigurah and if I ever make it back to the Maldives in the future, would stay there again.

Amazing staff, great service. do not go for the building, go for the people who will make your stay memorable. The beach is literally on your doorsteps. Food is great, vegetarian options are available. Many thanks to all people at Bliss for their hospitality!

Everything about the property was great, the restaurant is amazing with nice variety, the location is 1 minute from the beach, they also do excursions almost every day and prices are good value for money The managers and the staff make you feel at home, very welcoming, informative and helpful Can't fault it

Bliss was an amazing escape for my wife and I! Anne and the staff were helpful and attentive to all the needs of their guests, the property was super clean and accessible (like 1 minute to the beach) and they made it feel as though we were at home. Upon check-in, we were greeted with fresh coconuts and clean face towels (really nice touch!) The restaurant staff even learned what kind of coffee we liked and it was promptly placed on my table in the mornings. The dinner menu was exceptional and well presented. It was comparable to eating at the Six Seasons or Intercontinental. The organized snorkel tours were professional and well guided. We left completely enamoured by the natural world of the Maldivian oceans, albeit convicted that we need to do better overall to protect nature and reduce our carbon contribution, especially given coral bleaching and declining specie-diversity around the world. The overall experience with Bliss was incredible and we will definitely be returning and recommending Bliss to anyone that wants to visit the local culture of Maldives. Thank you all for making our trip so memorable.

The staff made us feel like family. It was hard to say good bye at the end. The experience was well worth it. We had came from a resort previously but the experience here was so much better. Beyond the great stay we really enjoyed meeting the other travelers. We snorkeled and saw whale sharks and enjoyed meals with the same group multiple days and that too made the experience. I am not one to normally write reviews but the experience was so special that I felt I needed to to give the hotel the support they deserve. I just hope the island doesn’t get too overbuilt because I want the experience to be the same next time we are back.
