Très charmante maison de campagne.

Sejour dans une maison très au calme. La literie pourrait être meilleure. La 2e chambre et la 2e salle de bain sont à l’extérieur de la maison. Le sejour et la cuisine sont très sombres ce qui nécessite d’avoir la lumière allumée en permanence.
La terrasse extérieure au RDc et celle à l’et Sont très agréable.
L’équipement est très bien même si niveau vaisselle 1 ou 2 saladiers seraient bienvenus.
Les propriétaires sont très réactifs et aux petits soins.

Charming house in a lovely village setting
Publié le 16 sept. 2019 sur HotelsThoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Olive Mill beautiful setting, very peaceful with amazing views from the balcony of the mountains. Everything you could need for a short break provided and extremely clear directions sent prior to our trip which made it very easy to find the the house. We will be definitely be looking to visit again in the future.

The description we read online was not entirely accurate. While there were indeed two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the description did not mention that one of each were actually outdoors. When the weather is 3 degrees, it is difficult to have to go outside to use the bathroom.
The cleanliness of the property was superficial - at a general glance it seemed fine, but inside the cutlery drawers for eg there were cobwebs - they clearly had not been cleaned well for some time.
Straight after booking, we received an email thanking us for the booking and giving us lots of information about the property, accessing this, things to do etc. I was actually impressed and would have rated the communication at this point as excellent. However, a few days before our visit, I sent an email with some questions, which I did not receive a reply too. This negatively affected our original good impression of their communication. Also, upon leaving the property, we left a bag behind - it would have been nice if they had called to let us know ....

Thank you for your review! As most traditional houses in the village areas of Cyprus, the bedroom and one of the bathrooms of the house is outside the house and 2 steps away from main house living room door. We would have been more than happy to resolve any housekeeping issues, however you did not inform us of any issues during your stay. We did receive an email from you asking to confirm that you can bring your dog with you which we have replied on the same day. You did not inform us either that you have forgotten a bag in the house - we do log anything that a guest might forget in our lost & found book and we do not have anything on record that you have forgotten. There was some plastic shopping bags at the house when we have visited for cleaning which obviously went for recycling as you did not inform us that you needed those. We generally keep excellent communication with all our guests if they reach out to us, and we immediately resolve any issues they report to us. We would be more than happy to resolve any issues if we had been informed about them.
