The property owner is very nice, but the condition of the outside of the house was surprising. There are several old trailers along the driveway, old lumber, trash and old building supplies. There is one bedroom on the main level and bathroom with the only shower downstairs. Upstairs has three VERY small bedrooms and an usual bathroom with a tub. During our summer stay, the house was stifling humid and hot with no AC in the house. The beds were not especially comfortable, similar to an inexpensive motel. The home and furnishings are generally worn past their due date, but its a clean and dry place to sleep. The home is right on the ferry road, which has great views, but could be a concern for families with small children.

We're sorry for the building supplies that's left outside the house as we're in the process of replacing the shingles during the good weather. Unfortunately this isn't a one day job that can be finished. As for the AC, we apologize for the inconvenience, we purposely didn't advertise that we had AC on the website but we'll make it clear for future guests. And our house is no different to any other houses, although it's on the ferry road, but actually it is a quiet road, the only busy traffic time is when the ferry arrives. It shouldn't be a concern for small children as long as they are under adult supervision when they are outside. We appreciate the feedback.

A nice place at the end of our vacation

Emplacement : It is minutes from shopping and just down the street from the ferry terminal.
We were two families with children and dogs and this was a perfect spot to stay for two nights. It had a beautiful view of the basin and two minutes from the ferry terminal. The owner was very welcoming and available 24/7. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The backyard was fenced so we could let the dogs out without worrying.
