This spacious 3,365 square-foot Penthouse condo in the Timbers at River Run Village was remodeled in October 2023 and features 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths with two private heated balconies. Enjoy the tranquility of this true ski-in, ski-out property between the Snake River and the White River National Forest but also conveniently located just steps away from shopping, restaurants, and local festivities in River Run Village.

The great room features a 30-foot vaulted ceiling with floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize the view, and plenty of seating around a gas fireplace with stone surround and a flat screen Apple TV.

The dining area, next to the kitchen, has forest views and comfortably seats 10 with five additional seats at the 10-foot island. The open-plan kitchen showcases quartz countertops, new, high-end stainless-steel appliances, a coffee bar and solid wood cabinetry. The kitchen also features a large refrigerator, pantry and range, and is fully stocked with all the essential cookware and small appliances, ample tableware and utensils, drip coffee maker, towels, and an initial supply of necessities such as spices, coffee, dish soap, paper towels and garbage bags, providing all that is needed for home cooked meals if desired.

Down the hall from the kitchen is a guest half-bath to service the common area, followed by a utility area with a full-sized washer and dryer which includes an iron/ironing board and laundry detergent for your convenience. All bathrooms are stocked with a generous supply of towels, hair dryer, and an initial supply of hotel-size toiletries.

This property comfortably sleeps 16 with (2) Kings, (2) Queens, (2) XL Twins, (2) XL Bunk Beds and an adult-sized XL twin bunk bed.

Both master suites are on opposite ends of the main floor, each with a king-sized bed, vaulted ceilings, flat screen TV, and a private en-suite bathroom featuring a duel-head steam shower, double sinks, Jacuzzi Capella Jetted tub and 2 luxurious bathrobes. One master offers a private heated floor patio and the other features a stone gas fireplace.

Also on the main floor are two guest bedrooms. Each features a private en-suite bathroom with single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. One guest bedroom offers two XL twin beds and the other has two XL twin bunks. Both have flat screen TV's.

Upstairs, next to the loft is the fifth bedroom which features two queen-sized beds, skylights, and a flat screen TV. The large loft area has a wall mounted flat screen TV, card table with seating for four, sitting area, and an adult-sized XL twin bunk bed. Serving the loft area is a full bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower and single sink vanity. In addition, you have the option of using the loveseat as a twin-size sleeper sofa with includes a Tempur-pedic mattress and linens, for an additional 17th person if desired.

This property has been updated with an ultra-premiums linens and ivory white bedding package. This package includes extra soft, oversized towels and high-quality bed linens with soft, medium thick, high-quality down alternative duvets that are laundered after each guest stay.

The unit also features in-floor heating with 7 zones to provide comfort for each guest's desired needs. Humidifiers, fans, luggage racks, hangers and extra blankets/pillows are provided.

The property offers shared amenities including a heated pool with indoor access, sauna, steam room, elevator, hot tub, fitness center, outdoor fire pit, ski lockers, large lobby with fireplace and seating area that offers complimentary newspaper, coffee, tea, cocoa, piano, and a game table/chess board.

Parking: Only one garage parking space is provided per rented unit. Additional parking is available.

Perfect for keystone skiing
We’ve stayed in this building before, and it’s one of the few IDEAL spots for keystone skiing. Most condos in River Run are good. This one is GREAT. It’s big, is nice. Is true ski in and out. Parking is good.

First Family Ski Trip
We stayed as a family of 13 for our first ever ski trip. We had grandparents and grandchildren ranging from age 1 to 67. We chose the Timbers initially because of the size of the unit being able to accommodate us. However, once we arrived we realized it was a perfect location. We were able to ski in and ski out easily and walk even with small children to all of the restaurants and shops. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs and we had plenty of toilet paper and laundry detergent. The only negative to our stay was the upstairs bedroom can get a little warm, even in December. Overall I highly recommend for a family traveling to Keystone. We hope to return!

Good home , bad customer service
The staff was very rude and careless with any requests that we asked , We stayed at timbers for the last 7 years never had any issues with satff until this time. It was very unpleasant communicating with the staff ,i tried to requset couple of things , they were very carelss didnt care ...we wont be returning or booking through summit rentals . Especially that we pay and get top notch houses. They definitely lost us as a customer. Horrible customer service.

Ok place, could be real nice!
Dishwasher was broke, cable in living room not working. I contacted property management and didn’t get any help till 48 hrs later, only after repeatedly calling. Dust bunnies all over the walls , some food caped on a few dishes in cabinets, just seemed to be not very well taken care of. Overall, a good location and a nice place to stay, just a bunch of small things that added up to be disappointing.

The place was big enough that we did not feel on top of each other. Plenty of "supplies" for cooking, sleeping, towels etc. We did have an actual roof leak right on top of one bed and a large water bubble in the ceiling in another room. I left a rather large "honey do" list that should be done before the next renter.

Great location and size for a family!
The condo was perfect for our large family! There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The location was great for ski in and ski out. We have several children of differing abilities, so it made it easy for us to bring some of them in when they got tired. The hot tub and pool we’re great amenities. The managers were easy to get in contact with. We had no complaints!

Great Place!
Loved everything about the condo other than the parking. With such a big condo holding 12 or more people, one parking spot was not enough although we handled it. That is the only issue we had. The rest of the condo was excellent. Wouldn't change anything. We had a wonderful time.

Surprisingly spectacular
It was hard booking this property given the price, however, upon our arrival we were extremely impressed! The ski-in ski-out was absolutely amazing, especially during night skiing. The kitchen was great (used the slow cooker for tacos), the balcony was refreshing, and the building was friendly. Highly reccomend!

This property is clean, spacious and steps away from the lift. Keurig, waffle makers, and good cutlery are just a few of the nice conveniences in the fully equipped kitchen. You never have to leave this property. There are restaurants, coffee shops, apparel stores, etc. in River Run village which is within (very close) walking distance.

Great location but needs updates
This condo was so close to the slopes at Keystone! It was definitely ski in/ski out. It was a short walk or drive to the River Run Village shopping area. It was great to have access to a pool and hot tub and ski lockers. The condo definitely needed some updating though. A fresh coat of paint and new rugs would improve the somewhat tired appearance. There were broken pantry doors and a steam shower that didn't work. The cleaning was just ok, There were hairs in some showers. Also, it was pretty inconvenient to have only one parking spot for our party of 12. Luckily, we were able to park two cars at the Summit County Reservations lot, but it took some time driving back and forth between lots to drop off extra vehicles.

Great spot for bridal party
I recently stayed in the Timbers with my bridesmaids the weekend of our wedding. It was a great spot to get ready in and plenty of natural light for photos. We loved the convenience to the River run gondola. Only complaint is there needs to be more parking spots for a house that sleeps 14. One spot is not enough.

Pretty disppointed in the broken shower we were told about an hour before arrival and then mildew in ALL of the showers. Broken or missing kitchen items, overall this was not the Penthouse quality accomodations we were expecting.

This property had a great location, great linens, a great private deck/patio (heated!), great fireplaces, good amenities (hot tub, grill, pool - though none private), and a good layout. However, there were 2 issues that we felt were significant. First - why would a 5 bedroom unit that sleeps 14 offer only 1 parking place? That was extremely inconvenient. Secondly - the unit was not kept up as well as the high nightly price tag would indicate. The furniture, while originally of good quality and design, was scratched and worn in many places, the walls were dirty, the rugs were dirty and one had a good-sized hole in it. The beds are really hard - I recommend bringing an egg crate topper. The kitchen is well stocked but could use more drinking glasses. All in all, we would think twice before staying here again - mainly because of the parking, but secondarily because of the price compared to the quality.

Fantastic
Phenomenal property. Awesome ski in/out. Excellent amenties. Covid-19 limited our party size but we were able to find another smaller place in the building. The only complaint is the parking. One spot for a condo that sleeps 14 (without using a sleeper sofa mind you) should have at least 2 spots. Excellent communication with SCMR. Very clear directions about what to do. Have a large group? Look no further.

Epic Family Skiing Vacation!!
Amazing property with all the bells and whistles exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for our entire family, great location and easy access to the ski lift. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy the properties amenities due to Covid, but that really didn't affect our vacation at all. The condo has fantastic jacuzzi tubs that were great to soak in after a long day of skiing!
