A great way to bring in the New Year
Publié le 3 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe arrived on New Years Eve to find the large open area of the barn, warm and welcoming. Everything was exactly as expected, if not more. The accommodation has everything you would ever need to make your stay very pleasant. Sue was also very helpful with answers to my questions on the lead up, which also helped set our expectations.
Overall a very chilled and relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life.

Family gathering for family wedding
Publié le 7 août 2023 sur HomeAwayI stayed with my husband, our three adult children and our daughter-in-law. It was very special to spend time together. The grand piano was much used as we all play and one daughter and my husband were performing at my niece's wedding (the next day). Absolutely perfect environment for us as a family. We loved it!

Publié le 6 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat location and plenty of space. Visually a lovely sitting room with huge vaulted ceiling but furnishings and rugs very tired. A few issues with showers but I’m sure they will be resolved.
As a family place to meet and celebrate a birthday it was wonderful.

A lovely break away

Sue was great with communicating with me prior to our arrival and it was really easy to get the keys to the property. We booked Virginia for the week and Duleep Singh for a few of the group who were only able to join for the weekend and both barns were equipped with everything we needed.

Memorable Stay
Publié le 21 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe visited for a 2 night stay in mid November. This is a lovely property and very cosy for a barn conversion. We found every thing we needed for our stay and the internal lay out was ideal for our party. The local area is very pretty and there are plenty of attractions close by. We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful Blo' Norton Barns

The property was beautiful, well equipped and nicely situated [feels remote and yet within easy reach of shopping. Leisure centres, attractions for adults and children . Fabulous family getaway
Publié le 25 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at Virginia Barn for 5 nights with our children and grandchildren. The barn is beautiful and the setting is peaceful and relaxing. We wandered down to the well kept tennis court and knocked a few balls around between us. In the field next door the cows were grazing in the late autumn sunshine and had 5 new calfs among them. We had good weather for the whole five days and didn't need to use the woodburner. The barn had everything we needed to make home cooked meals. One of the days we went to Thetford Forest Lodge, a great day out for everyone (we all had a play on the the play area!). We took games and our old playstations (1 and 2) to relive reliving our days of playing guitar hero and the dance mat! We walked to the Fox and the Vine pubs on different days for a quick pint with the locals who were all very friendly. It was a shame to leave today, we all had such a great time. I would definitely recommend Virginia barn if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

Publié le 21 août 2021 sur HomeAwayvery lovely barn at a peaceful location. The log burner was a special touch. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. If you’re not a fan of spiders i wouldn’t advise. Lots of cobwebs everywhere and flies. Overall we had a lovely couple of days here.

Thank you for your review, there are spiders and flies as we are in the country and we do our best to keep to minimum, however with High beams and guests wanting to arrive early there is not enough time to deal with a large building as well as make sure the house is Clean and Covid safe. We do ask that if there is anything that you are not happy with to speak to us on your arrival rather then us find out via reviews, its too late after the event for us to do anything. We are more then happy to come out to deal with these things as spiders and flies do not appreciate we have guests, so carry on about their business.

The property is spacious, well furnished and absolutely beautiful.
