Winter wonderland
Publié le 17 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad an overall wonderful 3 night stay! The cabin is super cute and cozy with everything you’d want for a weekend away. Everything was very clean, well kept, and stocked with necessities. It is off-grid so expect to put some work in to be comfortable (but that’s kind of the point haha). The fire was awesome and kept us very warm the whole time despite it being mid January. The host was very welcoming and friendly, she left lots of helpful instructions - great communication! Hopefully we’ll be able to come back in the future. If you’re interested in this type of experience, definitely go for it!

Cozy cabin
Publié le 8 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a very cute cabin but I don’t recommend it for anyone that is not comfortable or knowledgeable with wood stoves. It’s also a better spot for a summer or fall getaway, as opposed to the winter because it gets very cold when the fire goes down or out. There’s also not a ton of lighting inside the cabin, so bringing extra lights and flashlights is recommended, in addition to your own drinking water. Surprisingly, the outhouse is quite nice, although it’s a bit more challenging to use late at night when you have to leave the warmth of the cabin. The host communicated well with us and helped us works through issues when they came up. The bedroom has its own heating element which really saved the day and made it super cozy, and the king bed was very comfortable. There are lots of fun board games in the cabin and the location is very quiet and peaceful. There is no internet but I had good cell service so it wasn’t a problem.

The most beautiful view we’ve ever experienced
Publié le 15 oct. 2018 sur HomeAwayThis cabin was extremely cozy and definitely has a homey feel to it. The views you get to experience even on the drive there are absolutely jaw dropping. The cabin is fully stocked with things you will need which is super convenient. The outhouse was huge and spacious. Everything about this place was simply perfect. We took a drive to mt. Blue after we left and that scene was absolutely beautiful as well! We definitely recommend trying Ellis Variety which is a little diner style restaurant with absolutely delicious food! Overall one of the best trips I’ve gotten to experience thank you so much again Aranka and Colby!

A piece of heaven!

The amount of outdoor adventures you can experience is endless. From hiking Mt. Blue to gold panning in the swift river. My wife and I celebrated our 18th anniversary here with our 2 daughters and couldn’t be happier with our stay. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much!
