Walking through the doors is a step back in time. The entry features a round fireplace surrounded by antique barber chairs. We were invited to join everyone around the fire in the evening. That's just the start. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The property is old but has been well maintained.

Our stay was perfect! The staff was so friendly and helpful and made our stay an experience we’ll never forget. The atmosphere promotes nostalgia at every turn but still offers computer/Wi-Fi access, an outdoor/indoor pool, and a hot tub. The decor and unique fireplace add a warm, cozy touch. Whether it’s a vacation with the kids or a couple’s night away from home, the Don Q has you covered. We’ll be back!

Very unique property. We loved the old charm, especially the giant fireplace in the lobby. This hotel does not offer a lot of modern amenities and is very dated. However, we enjoy the history and hope to stay in the fantasuites one day.

The hotel is older and could use some updates, but my room was clean and the service was good. The front desk staff and owners were very friendly, and the area felt safe. I appreciated the continental breakfast, and there was ample parking available. Plus, there’s a jacuzzi and pool, which are nice amenities to enjoy.

The hotel was super clean and well maintained. The fantasuites are so much fun. Our mattress was so uncomfortable. Needed to be replaced. Staff very friendly! Great location to see all the great things in the area.

Nice place to stay. Very friendly staff. It's an older hotel, so it's not perfect, but still very pleasant. The morning breakfast is very convenient. We'd stay again.

My fiance and I stay here twice a year when we come to see House on the Rock. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. It's got a quirky charm that we enjoy every bit as much as the local attractions. Anyone complaining about things being "dated" doesn't understand the magic of the place. We'll definitely be back!

When we arrived we learned that the room we reserved was not available due to a broken toilet. We were given an upgraded room, which was OK. We weren't too excited about a honeymoon, jacuzzi suite. However, the bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. It appears that the property owners are making a concerted effort to upgrade the property, but it's still a work in-progress.
