Cute & Cozy
Publié le 24 mai 2024 sur HomeAwaySecluded location but close to Dolores. Contrary to previous reviews, the heater is a ventless unit so there should be no safety concerns. We used it with no issue. Accommodations are extremely fair for the rate charged. We would stay again.

Not like the description
Publié le 19 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayNot maintained at all. BBQ grill was rusted shut and look like something pick up off the side of the road. No Air conditioning. Fan in living room was melted fan blades from the heat. Like when you use indoor fan outside. It does not move air. The heater is gas and not properly vented to outside.( not vented at all so fumes went to inside home) water heater not properly vented either. We were under the impression on home on the 75 acres. Nope home on 1 side and rented rv on the other side no privacy. Yard was not maintained at all. Very disappointed after driving for 1500 hours

Convenient

We did not have much luck finding elk. We are no longer able to traverse rough terrian because of physical limitations. We still enjoyed getting away and seeing different countty.

Nice Cabin
Publié le 4 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is right outside Dolores and close to Mesa Verde and Cortez. Only an hour drive from Durango and four corners. We were able to do a lot of activities and explore new areas of Colorado. The cabin’s beds were comfortable which is a must when you are tired from the day’s activities. The nights were cool and A/C was not required as long as you had a fan and cracked the windows. The kitchen was small but appropriate for making small meals. I wish there was more of an outdoor space to eat, sit, and enjoy summer evenings outside of the cabin. The cabin was private and had a view of the mountains. It was great to have WiFi and was able to work from the cabin when needed. Overall, the cabin was great as a base camp and a great price which allowed us to afford to do even more activities.
