A nice place in a nice location
Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWas a lovely house but advertised a trampoline and didn’t have one, couldn’t work out the Wii, found a scratch on one of the tv. The grounds were very nice. Not sure about the stairs if one has small kids. The house itself was well equipped. All in all a nice place in a nice location.

Hi Katherine,
You have reviewed that we do not have a trampoline, this is incorrect.
in the bottom right hand corner of the property next to the tree swing there is clearly a rectangular trampoline. This is a miss representation of our property.
You also review that you couldn’t work out the WII, there are clear instructions on the side of the wii itself, and we are only a phone call away if you need any assistance. All this information is located in the welcome book on the kitchen table.

Very relaxing break
Publié le 29 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat for 4 of us, plenty of space, clean, loved the fire pit. The locality is good, close to the beach and fishing spots, not to mention the lovely East Coast wineries.

Nice house 100m from beach and not too close to neighbours
Publié le 10 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayBeautiful beach 100m from door. Shops only a short drive away. Lots of local attractions and some further away (1hr) like Freycinet. The drive to anywhere is half the fun - Jesus made some beautiful scenery when He made Tassie.

Fabulous - even in winter

We weren't cold at all - and it was definitely cold outside!

Great place to spend our Easter weekend

The second lounge area and the WII came in very handy and were well used by the teenagers in our group.
The firepit was great and enjoyed by all. The beach is so close and was lovely to walk along each evening to witness the most beautiful sunsets.
I only have one little thing that could be improved and that would be to replace the bbq. It was very clean but only 2/3rds of it was working and the heat was very varied over the cooking surface. Apart from that the kitchen was easy to use and had everything we needed.
We are looking forward to staying here again. Thank you.

Most wonderful stay at dolphin sands

The house is very comfy with everything you need for a great stay.We particularly enjoyed our early morning walks along the beach admiring the fiery red sunrises. Great place to base yourself for touring the east coast. Wish we could have stayed longer and used the outdoor fire pit which looked like fun. Sunday lunch at the Waterloo inn down the road is not to be missed!
