Family Gathering

Posted Oct. 28, 2023 on HomeAwayIdeal property for our 3 generational family. Access for disabled member of our family was good. Plenty of places to keep us busy. Beaches, monkey world and Bovington camp were a hit.
We would recommend this property.
A dust pan and brush would be useful!!

Family Holiday
Posted Aug. 14, 2022 on HomeAwayThe property is lovely and in peaceful surroundings. It is lovely to hear the horses.
The property was clean and had all essentials for a nice family holiday.
The only negatives for us was
- lack of drawers and storage in the bedrooms.
- (this one isn't the fault of the owners as the bins are only emptied fortnightly, but is a problem, especially in the heat) the wheelie bin was full when we arrived, and also full to overflowing when we left, so the next people will have the same problem as us.

Perfect for exploring

Perfect location

In peak season we were pleased to be able to retreat to the quiet of the Saddlery whilst also being near enough to dip in and out of Weymouth and Dorchester which are both near by. The property was large enough for two families to share without feeling on top of each other. The whole place was immaculate but with a cottage feel. My kids loved seeing the horses and chickens each day as well as buying and eating their eggs. We stumbled across a sunflower maze at Maiden farm where we enjoyed the maze and took some beautiful photos of the family. If you don't like being in the thick of the action this is a perfect location. Huge thanks to Stacey for clear instructions, ample amenities and great communication.

All very good except would be better with book of how to us and find things
Posted Jul. 28, 2021 on HomeAwayOverall quite clean kitchen cupboards were not cleaned from last used as still rice everywhere everywhere else good beds and rooms the shower room downstairs did not have hot water to sink which wasn't so good we had a lovely time though and would come again.
