Needs some small fixes. We had a blast on the river, playing cornhole, hanging by the fire, and using the game room. However, the foosball table was not there. The owner was so easy to get ahold of and exceptionally helpful. His goat Oreo is a gem

I booked this place for my daughter’s birthday, it looked lovely on-line. The big selling point for us was being on the river with easy river access, but the wooden path shown in photos was totally destroyed, making the walk down to the river very dangerous. It also advertises being pet friendly, but it was not. The fence surrounding the property is not built to keep an animal contained, my puppy got out under one of the boards and was almost hit by a car, so she had to stay in more than she liked. The house was dirty. The bed was on its last legs, quite literally and was not steady, very squeaky of anyone else on the bed moved it woke you up. Hot tub had dirt and sand all over the bottom. Fat gave all over the outside. Deck was not covered underneath so my dog kept wanting to go under it, not relaxing at al. I wanted my dog to be able to be free and have fun while we soaked in the hot tub. So very sad coming home. What a waste of money.

Very dirty in house. Hot tub was fine. Location was great.

Beautiful place, very clean, everything was ok, kitchen well equipped for cooking, plenty towels in the restroom.

Pros Beautiful spot Water was hot Hot tub was hot and clean Owner/partner was polite Cons Place was filthy- bugs on the sill, open oj and crumbs in the fridge, moldy shower curtain, sticky/gummy residue on top of fridge and microwave, cupboards with dirt and bugs Soap dispenser had been watered down so much it was just water. Outside had a wood piece covering the septic tank moved easily by our dog Left multiple message through Vrbo app with no reply. Called the phone number listed on the documents with no reply. Finally remembered the owner partner texted us to let us know the foosball table leg was broken and texted him. To his great credit he texted back that he would come the following day to clean up what housekeeper missed (Christmas day). It was the day before our last day but I wanted to show him. He brought a large bath towel and proceeded to get it wet with water and wipe bugs etc off the sill then go outside and shake it off. Couldn’t get a new shower curtain so removed the inner curtain etc. Owner apologized and offered to give us more nights stay which we politely declined and also refund our cleaning deposit. Finding another place during the holiday was not an option for us. Cost, lack of options etc so we went to the store and purchased cleaning supplies, paper plates and utensils

The positives were the river access and swimming there, the clean hot tub and the game room that the two teens enjoyed. The air conditioner worked fine. The negatives were the house itself. The kitchen was not well suplied for cooking. The bed linens were difficult to find and there weren't enough for five, certainly not for 9. The bathroom had good bath towels but no hand towels or washcloths. These should be simple fixes.

For the price it was exactly what we wanted.
