Came for Oktoberfest, will come back for the breathtaking sky and amazing hosts.

We spent Saturday in Fredricksburg at Oktoberfest, the drive into town is fun with the winding roads, views and animal sightings. While at the property our family had fun watching and talking to Rocky and Bullwinkle. We also brought our telescope along and were not disappointed with what we could see. The sky is beautiful.
Jenny and Eric went above and beyond. We were celebrating our 13 yo birthday and they decorated the table with balloons and flowers, gave her a card and her favorite dessert. She definitely felt special!! They even sent us easy to follow directions. Thank you for being a part of our fantastic weekend getaway.

Wonderful Hosts and Property
Publié le 9 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay. It was the perfect location for us we had family about 5 miles away. The property was immaculately clean and they provided many great items. They had coffee, toiletries and even made us ice and put water in the fridge. We loved the view, fire pit and longhorn cows walking around. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. Overall it was just a great experience.

Eric and Jenny's guest house is an extremely nice, very comfortable place to stay while exploring Texas hill country and local wineries. They are amazing hosts and excellent communicators about everything related to the stay and the area. We had lots of questions which they very promptly answered. We would highly recommend Eric and Jenny's guest house to anyone wanting to spend some time exploring Texas hill country and enjoy some peace and quiet!

Stars and Longhorns
Publié le 23 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay! The kids loved seeing the longhorns walking around close by. We got to relax and enjoy the scenery by the fire pit. With the clear sky, the stars are so pretty! The house has ample space and games inside. My daughter loved making hot chocolate in the coffee maker, so it was great that was an option! We liked chatting with Eric and Jenny when we saw them. It is about 25 minutes to town, but there are a lot of animals to see on the drive!

Great long weekend!

The drive is fun as there is a lot of livestock to see that entertained the kids on the country roads. The hosts were very gracious with things like bottled water and firewood and were extremely great communicators prior to and throughout the stay. We enjoyed walking the property with the kids and long camp fires in the evening. We had a great time!
