Beautiful house
Posted Sep. 11, 2022 on HomeAwayA gorgeous house with everything you could wish for a very comfortable stay. Immaculately clean throughout, well equipped kitchen and wonderful beds.
A good location for visiting some pretty villages, a lovely place to relax. Hosts were so helpful and friendly, thank you for making us feel so welcome, would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area

Posted Sep. 2, 2022 on HomeAwayWe had such a wonderful stay here. Veronique and Christophe are the perfect hosts. We were made to feel so welcome. It is a wonderful area to stay, near lots of pretty places and beaches nearby. Veronique gave us lots of tips for local visits. The house is great and immaculate. The beds are super comfy, the most comfy we’ve ever slept in when away! And the garden is fab, with outside dining Space. It all feels very private and the owners are on hand next door if you need. Veronique kindly took our girls to feed their donkeys, who are so sweet. Thank you again! We would love to return!

Fantastic Stay
Posted Nov. 15, 2018 on HomeAwayWhat a wonderful stay we had with Christophe and Veronique. Their guest home was perfect for us, allowing us to enjoy the historic sites and art of the region. We can't say enough about Christophe and Veronique's friendliness and hospitality. They went out of their way to help when we had some difficulty with our rental car. We enjoyed socializing with them, and would highly recommend their property. Please thank them again for us.

Beautiful restored house in friendly atmosphere

The house was warm and had a personal feeling. We enjoyed the peace and quietness and Doudeville was a nice place to go to.
Cristophe and Veronique were open to our needs,helpful and interested. Thank you !!

Beautifully Restored Property with lovely welcoming hosts
Posted Oct. 16, 2018 on HomeAwayThe cottage has been beautifully restored recently and is very clean . Unlike most rentals it is much much better than described on the website . It has a large and extremely comfortable living and dining area . The kitchen is extremely well-equiped and everything works . The location is superb , extremely quiet with lovely views . Children will love the donkeys. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nicely appointed , in fact there is nothing we can criticise about the place. Doudeville , which is a few minutes away , has every kind of shop you might need including a well stocked supermarket . It also has some very nice restaurants . The owners , Christophe and Véronique , live next door and are extremely hospitable and welcoming without being intrusive . This is by a long way the nicest rental cottage we have ever stayed at. We will definitely try and return, Finally , because there are wooden floors and no carpets , it is ideal for dog owners , as we are , because one isn't in constant fear of the consequences of wet or muddy paws.

The Excellent Gite
Posted Aug. 19, 2018 on HomeAwayThe Gite is absolutely terrific its basically very homely, it is set out very well inside and the beds are very comfortable and the Kitchen offers all that you would want. Also there is a really large front Garden where our Dog loved to run and stretch her legs. The property offers everything that you would want.
We only used the Gite for a nights stop over whilst travelling south from a late train crossing, but wished we had stayed longer, we will return in the not too distant future to stay longer.
The owners Christophe and Veronique are really friendly and offer a warm welcome to you, so do their three donkeys that live in the field 100m away from the property if you pop down to say hello to them.

Overall an extremely enjoyable stay and our family would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. From anywhere!!! Bon vacances!!
