We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially getting the chance to listen to an inCREDible piano player, named Phil, on two different nights.

I was pleased with the room & the location of the hotel. The breakfasts are first class as are the bar snacks/meals.
I hadn’t expected my room to be serviced everyday so to return and find my bed made, towels folded ect was a bonus. Excellent experience all round. I am considering visiting the Island with my wife in the future and will definitely be booking my stay at the Empress.

we stayed for 4 nights in Aug 2024. The hotel is older, but elegance and character. Comfy bed, nice o ean view from our room, good buffet style breakfast, nice lobby restaurant, fast check-in/out. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel, large room (117)- unfortunately no view, just a roof.
However nice bedding, soft towels & hot shower. In house bar with a good menu, meals were substantial.Breakfast had all you needed to start the day.
The reception staff were friendly and very helpful, a big plus from me
