Great little hideout
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time at the container. Loved the aesthetic of the property. Lots of little thoughtful details. We grilled out every meal, which was super easy with the new propane grill. The hottub was relaxing, and we met the resident toad who lives under the deck. He was doing his part by eating the bugs at night. Very dog friendly. It was private, yet conveniently located close to town when we inevitably forgot something and needed a quick trip to Walmart. The steep drive would be best for trucks. Communication was super fast and easy. We’d highly recommend a stay here!!

Exactly what we needed!!
Publié le 10 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a perfect place to come get away from it all & press the “reset” button! My husband & I took our dog & spent two nights at the shipping container. We arrived at night, but were able to spot the driveway marked with the mini container & made our way. It was the perfect size for two people, & the host even provided blankets for our pup to also be able to enjoy the couch & bed. The hot tub was clean & well-maintained & all we had to do was take off the cover & climb in. The host provided recommendations of places to check out in the area, including restaurants, which was helpful. There was no TV & I chose not to pay for WiFi, so it provided a nice opportunity for us to reconnect with each other. I did purchase some firewood, which we got to enjoy in the fire pit. We were also able to make dinner using a hot plate & grill provided by the host. We are already talking about wanting to come back in the future! If you are looking for a secluded place to take a break for the hustle & bustle, this is your place.

Great little getaway

I recommend booking here, but also maybe bringing beach towels for the hot tub. Bath towels were provided, but we at least would have preferred beach towels for the purpose!
