About this property

Conewago Glamp and Paddle 1 and 2 day canoe and kayak over night paddle trips.

Enjoy 8 beautiful, secluded acres on the Conewago Creek at Bald Hill, Northern York Co. My homestead was once part of the Conewago Turf Farm. It borders the creek a length of 1100 feet. I maintain a walking trail along that length. Camp is at the base of a steep section of the Conewago Mountains, creating privacy and protection from wind and afternoon sun.
Plenty of good fishing and paddling here. I offer shuttle service for 1day five mile or 2 day ten mile float trips, paddle in one day, paddle out the next day. Canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD's are included in the price of your stay.
The Conewago is very beginner paddling but remote, very clean and full of wildlife. Gifford Pinchot State Park is 7 miles away. I have two paddle boards if you want to paddle the 3 mile lake. This adventure would require a short hike out to a parking area. You don't have to paddle, plenty of other things to do here. Large maintained yard for lawn games, lighted horseshoe pits.
Chill in a wood fired Norwegian sauna and cook in a Peruvian wood fired earth oven or cook under the stars over an open fire. Firewood is also included. Foodies will rejoice here.
The camp kitchen is open air on two sides so bugs may show up occasionally but you are well protected from wind and weather. It has a refridgerator/freezer, 4 burner gas flattop grill, NuWave induction cooktop, concrete counter space. Dinner seating for six, including plates, bowls, silverware and all styles of glassware and cookware. Ice is available for you drinks and cocktails. I'll collect all your used glasses and dishes at the end of the evening and wash return them for your breakfast. There is an outdoor sink for washing and rinsing food if you prefer that. Open fire cookware is also available.
The bedroom sleeps two with a queen size bed, AC, heat and a large window. There's plenty of room for tent and van camping as well. The bathroom has a flush toilet and sink with hot and cold water. The outdoor shower is very private and has on demand hot water. Towels for the shower are included.
I work and live here in a house above the glamp area. My space is seperate from your space. I'm a part time blacksmith and wood worker. It's not always quiet but evenings and weekends are mostly peaceful. I'll assist you in any way or do my best to stay out of your way.
Wildlife love it here, I think you will too.
