Fantastic place!
Publié le 11 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was clean and well decorated. It felt cozy and suited our group well. Plenty of space inside, and a great outdoor space to enjoy as well. The owners thought of everything and it showed — so many thoughtful details and finishing touches. Beds were a little firm for our liking, but not enough to prevent us from returning. We had a wonderful stay.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! Mattresses and pillows were some of the toughest decisions we made while setting up the property becaue everyones tastes are uniquel, even within our family. We have had people send us links because they love them but they are not for everyone. Thanks for staying with us and we would love to have you back anytime!

Birthday Weekend
Publié le 22 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our second time staying at Yellowbrick and once again we had an amazing time. The house snd property are very well maintained. We had a relaxing weekend celebrating my husbands birthday with friends. The kitchen had everything we needed, we enjoyed using tbe firepit, grill, and hot tub. We enjoyed seeing the updated wedding venue barn next door that is a part of the property, since our last visit. The grounds and surrounding landscape is beautiful. The house is just a short drive to Berlin and the surrounding Amish country and all that it has to offer. We stopped at a couple local wineries and shops nearby. Thank You for sharing your lovely home with us, We truly enjoy this home.

We love when guests return! It makes our hearts happy to hear that you enjoyed not only the beauty and deliciousness 😋 of Amish Country, but the entire property and nearby wineries and shops. The venue is definitely an added bonus to cottage guests and next time you return I’m sure you’ll be delighted with more new features (much to my hubby’s chagrin 😊). Yellow brick on 39 was a dream
Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property felt like it was straight out of a movie set. It was so incredibly comfortable and charming, the setting was just perfect for us. The amenities were spot on. But the thing that shined the most was the hospitality that Brenda provided. She went above and beyond to give us countless recommendations of what to do, and where to eat and just truly made us feel welcomed and at home. The was our first time using VRBO, and because of Brenda and Yellow Brick on 39 it’s a 10 out of 10 recommend. Best rental experience we’ve had hands down. Thank you again Brenda for the incredible stay!

A well appointed house

It’s on a road with heavy truck traffic, so if you need a white noise machine for sleeping, it would be good to bring one with you. It was nice to have a big table for meals and enough seating in the living room for people to hang out together. It’s also good that there is a main level sleeping room in case someone in the party has mobility issues. We’ve stayed here multiple times and made some good memories here.

Birthday Weekend Getaway
Publié le 7 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property, owner, and grounds were wonderful. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Check-in was easy and the owner was very responsive to a couple questions we had. We had a group of 8 adults and there was more than enough room for all of us. Words can't describe what a relaxing weekend we all had. We enjoyed an Amish buffet for lunch and spent a little time in Berlin browsing the shops. We cooked breakfast & dinner at the house and had everything we needed for both in the well stocked kitchen. The owner even provided some cold bottled water for us on arrival! This property is beautiful and the owner was amazing. A member of our group forgot their suitcase. The owner was kind enough to reach out to us so they could return to retrieve the suitcase from the home. Thank You for sharing your home with us, we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home- perfect location.

The house and gardens were beautiful- we enjoyed the firepit and hot tub in the evenings. The house was immaculate and had everything you could ever need- and all labeled so easy to find! We enjoyed dinner and music at Han's place- just a few miles away.
Brenda was a wonderful host, so friendly and helpful. She even left us a gift due to construction next door- which was not a hindrance at all, we found the stonework interesting! We will definitely love to stay again!

Perfect Gathering Spot
Publié le 16 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThere was nothing we needed that this place didn’t have. The fire pit and hot tub were a hit, as was the outdoor cat Norma who hung around. Nice decorating and spotless!
One and ONLY small negative was that it’s on a busy road and noisy, but nothing that fans (provided) in the bedrooms couldn’t help to muffle.

The place was very perfect!

A personal preference of mine would be the pillows were a little too firm in the bedroom that we were in so we went out and bought a few pillows which I would’ve thought of asking that question prior but I probably could’ve just packed a pillow And the property was amazing. We truly enjoyed it as we were there for a wedding not far from the venue.
