This property is under MAJOR renovations. The whole lobby, dining area and reception desk all covered in plastic, floors ripped up, noisy construction, water on floor all the way to the elevator. I would never have stayed here if I knew, there are many other hotel options down the street. Not your fault, but The Hilton Garden should have informed you. Not worth $160 per night, should give big discount.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience as we undergo the first major renovation in 16 years. We are working as quickly as possible to minimize any disruptions and hope to have the lobby tile completed in the next 2-4 days. Our restaurant is closed this week only and reopens on 11/11. While there is never a good time to renovate, we are making decisions that carry the least guest impact possible, and our construction crews are ahead of schedule for completion. We will move into the guest rooms in December but will keep an entire floor out at a time to minimize disruptions. We hope you will visit us again after March when this exciting project is completed, and we unveil a beautiful new property.

The hotel is very nice. The room was very spacious and the room was clean and very nice.

I can’t find anything wrong with our stay, other than the things out of the hotels control (homeless lady sleeping outside on the grass). From the lovely demeanor of the staff to the cleanliness of the room, I would stay again. Be aware that the breakfast is a bit pricey for what is offered, but you’ll still be satisfied. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn for making our weekend easy going!

Thank you for your feedback. Like many cities, Dover is experiencing an increase in homelessness. While the individual you are speaking of is not on our property, I understand the appearance. We are working with the city and are committed to try and help where we can and be responsible corporate partners. We work with Code Purple, a local outreach program, to provide donations in the form of cash, in-kind sauch as hygiene kits, and volunteer for other efforts. Our breakfast buffet is 16, which is reasonable for a full hot breakfast plus all cold continental items. Other buffets in the area are priced the same and do not provide the quality of product we offer.We appreciate you sharing your feedback!
