Lake Living

Beautifully decorated but felt it was not well maintained. Most importantly, pocket door in Master suite off track so acted like a barrier to the bathroom vs entrance way. Had to walk all the way around the common areas and the stairs to use the Master bathroom in the dark. There was clutter in corners that wasn’t decorative. There were ants on the kitchen counter. Dishes did not feel clean so we had to run a load prior to eating our first meal. Dishes felt clean after that, so not your dishwasher.
House seems much smaller than in photos. Needs a little TLC. Stairway to dock didn’t t have a bottom stair, and stone stair slippery with algae. Someone could have fallen. And noise travels easily in house. Shower in MBR didn’t feel clean. Upstairs bedding didn’t feel clean so my friend had to wash it before use.
You may need to hire different cleaning crew.
Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Very Cozy Cabin - Wonderful View
Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe rented for a weekend, so we could get to know the local area. Sister Lakes is a nice area, consisting of several lakes, including Cable Lake (where the cabin is located).
There were plenty of beds and the bathrooms and kitchen were well-updated. The screen porch was a perfect place to enjoy a time-appropriate beverage and the beautiful Cable Lake view. Easy check in and nicely stocked and furnished!

Short Weekend Stay

Beth's birthday stay
Publié le 9 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe planned our stay to celebrate my wife's birthday. We enjoyed wine tasting at Contessa Winery and a great dinner at Sister Lakes Brewery. The weather was cool and overcast much of the time so the warmth of the gas fireplace was much appreciated. The view of the lake added to the ambiance and the sound of the spring peepers brightened our walks.

Surprise winter wonderland stay!

Lake House
Publié le 5 août 2022 sur HomeAwayThe house was very nice and comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood. Maybe a little farther away from things to do than we realized. We had a 30 minute drive to anything we wanted to do. Restaurants in the area closed by 8-9 at night so we had to plan accordingly to get dinner. Not really anything to do near our house, but the fact that it was on a lake and we had access to kayaks and a paddleboard helped.
