Nice rustic cabin
Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at “Camp Can’t Keep Up” for our first time in Elk Country…the kids didn’t want to leave! Rustic but pretty cozy cabin. Two things for future guests to be aware of…the tap water has quite a strong sulfur smell so we were definitely glad to have bottled water. Also, the cabin had a very strong old musty smell, seemingly from all the animal mounts…? We did get used to it by the second day though. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful cabin surrounded by nature

Camp Can't Keep Up...but that's ok!
Publié le 28 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time, the cabin was very clean and comfy, and the property is beautiful. Only one thing, and this is not something the owners can change, is the (well) water
smells. Be sure to bring drinking and cooking water. Other than that, it's a 5 star rating from us

Elk Expo 2024
Publié le 9 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was spotless and sanitary. Our only complaint was cobwebs and dust on the taxidermied animals. The check-in process was easy. The photos on the listing show elk in the property yard. We talked to locals around the property and were told no elk have been seen in this area in 4 years. I am sure they are around, but we did not happen to see any at the property during our stay. Communication was clear with the property manager and they even sent links to local things to do in the area. The location is amazing off a dirt road with low traffic. The property also has a stream that runs along the backyard. One other complaint would be the lack of blinds on the windows.

Perfect Retreat
