Not a good experience for me, I'm afraid. You have to call to get the access code to the keybox. It would be easier if they could email/text on morning of arrival. The room was nice and clean although the sofa bed had some stains. Unfortunately, i couldn't get wifi to work, and I tried everything. There was no one on site to help, even though I'd checked in exactly at time requested. I had to find another hotel locally who kindly allowed me to use their guest wifi. It was essential as i needed to coordinate collection of my daughter who was elsewhere with family that day. Several calls and texts didn't resolve it. Secondly, a group of kids were hanging out just opposite the property and my room, letting off extremely loud firecrackers, shouting constantly and coming onto property and throwing water balloons. Other guests complained to me too. When i had wifi at the other hotel, i informed owner/manager of this. They promised to call local police but, to my knowledge, they never turned up. Kids will be kids etc but not what you want on holiday and it was for hours. In the end, returned to the other hotel and luckily they had a room for the night for 2. Gorgeous, better room, cheaper (also with a pool) and lovely and quiet. Owner was on site.and extremely helpful with WiFi way before i even asked him about a room. I was refused a refund because I'd already checked in. No acknowledgement of all afternoon wasted, inconvenienc, things not working and no-on.to.assist.

The property was well kept and very clean. I would recommend this stay if you are going to the areas of Paphos or the Akamus Peninsula. It is very comfortable with a nice living area and kitchen. The restaurants are not the best around so consider stopping and going shopping in Polis. The beds are comfortable and recommend.

Perfect place to spend a night whilst travelling around the Paphos district. Room was actually an apartment that has been tastefully renovated whilst keeping its traditional charm. Would recommend.

Lovely, quiet place away from the hustle of Paphos

Stayed here for a week early October. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but be prepared to be entirely reliant on a rental car. We used the car every day. Very little going on in the village, although coral Bay was just 25 minutes away and paphos only 40 so main areas fairly well accessible. Latsi and Poli also sub 20 minutes and very nice villages. Whilst then 5 villas were full, we had to pool area to ourselves almost every day. Sun loungers were really great... But the pool was like a plunge pool and was freezing!

Pleasant stay

Apartment was nice, although the area around the pool was a bit tired. Pleasant village, although completely deserted in the evenings during the off season. Slightly randomly offers breakfast and poolside bar, despite there only being a few apartments. Only a short taxi ride (15 euro) to Latchi where there is a much better selection of restaurants.

Perfect for a quiet few days away. Friendly helpful owner and breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Need a car to venture out. Ideal spot for beach and mountains.

Peace and quiet in a traditional mountain village

Publié le 14 nov. 2017 sur Hotels
We stayed at Ktima for a week in early November and it was everything we had hoped it would be and more! The accommodation is in very well-kept converted old stone house with a lovely shared pool area surrounded by fir trees and overlooking the mountains. The apartment itself is fairly basic but modern and clean and has everything you might need for a weeks stay - a really comfortable bed, a great shower and a simple kitchen (there is only a hob however no oven or microwave which might have been useful). Droushia is a lovely and quiet village with friendly locals and very pretty traditional houses and taverns. We visited out of season so barely saw any other tourists however I can imagine in the summer months it could get quite busy as there is a popular hotel nearby. Finally we would just like to thank Themis - the incredibly kind lady who is in charge of housekeeping at Ktima. She was always on hand if we needed anything and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ktima and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, cosy and peaceful place to stay in Cyprus.
