To go up to five stars this property just needs a professional deep cleaning followed by professional cleaning between renters. There were small things like dirty baseboards door edges and fans that make a difference to first impressions. Also attention to repair details would take a very nice property to a special one. Location made it easy to get every where we wanted to go.

Policy dictates all dishes used are cleaned however when we arrived we had to spend a long time cleaning every dish and utensil.
The cost of cleaning are not reflected in the condition when we arrived.

Publié le 22 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe were a group of 5, so finding a property in a town that has a significant number of crews taking up rooms was a bit of a challenge. This property worked out perfect for our needs, but we were disappointed in the pricing structure, as it was advertised as “sleeps 8”, but prices started to increase with each guest, above one person. This was in addition to the cleaning fee.
So, given the extra charges for each additional person and the cleaning fee, we were surprised the place was not as clean as one would expect. We opted to work around the issues, as we didn’t want to have our short visit interrupted by folks coming in to clean.
I did address the issues, with photos, with the company that owns the rental properties , and they were very responsive, including providing a credit on their property website. This was appreciated, but given we booked through VRBO, we would have preferred to have the concerns addressed through the VRBO platform. This group does own a number of properties, and the reviews are typically better, so we believe this may have been a one off. It was noted the property manager was dealing with a personal family concern, but some cleaning issues weren’t just from a week or two of poor cleaning.
While the property worked for us, it was disappointing it did not live up to typical VRBO standards for Premium Hosts.
