Family Friendly Hotel

Our 3-bedroom Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was also clean, and all of the staff was very accommodating. The gentleman running the breakfast buffet was amazing! He ran the buffet very well and with a smile on his face. Being a very busy long weekend, I was impressed with how well he handled it. The buffet room is incredibly hard to navigate with many people leaving very narrow walkways.

Great stay

Nice, clean hotel. Close to everything in drumheller. Pool, hot tub and slide were great. Nice breakfast and staff were friendly.

Overall a good stay. The beds were comfortable, pillows were nice. Lots of towels to begin with. Cleanliness of our room was good, you can tell it’s nearing time for a bit of an update but that’s normal for many hotels I think. Probably the quietest hotel I’ve ever been to, I feel like it was nearly full and we never heard a single thing. We didn’t have a chance to check out the pool, but it looked like a lot of fun. Both mornings we went to the breakfast it was a little bit sad (empty of various things) and messy. We only ever saw one employee, and he was always running around doing multiple tasks. The only thing we missed when booking was that it was a dog friendly hotel. We had a run in with one of the very large dogs, walking by as we opened our room door, it growled and lunged at my 4 year old and tried to come in our room and I had to put myself between them. Something to be aware of when staying here. We would return.

Found the swimming pool a bit dirty and the deck need a cleaning. The rooms were great and breakfast room is very small for the amount of people in the place. The fellow working in the breakfast room was always very busy keeping up with everything. He was doing his best.

Found a dirty towel on the desk as soon as my family and I walked in. As we were setting up the pull out sofa bed, a dirty sock was found inside. We also found an empty pack of yogurt with a dirty spoon under the bed next the side table. Lastly, the shower drain was slow to drain because it was clogged with hair. My family and I checked in late and were extremely tired and did not want to go through the hassle of calling the front desk, possibly changing rooms, and moving all of our stuff to another room (we were a family of 5 with a dog). This was not a good stay.

The property is well located, and clean. Beds are sufficient and included breakfast is acceptable. The heater in our room set off the smoke alarm and we were without heat for the weekend as no other rooms were available.

Check in was good. Breakfast … where do I start… too small of an area, there was food littered everywhere, no utensils to eat, definitely need more then one person looking after a busy Saturday morning. Pool was ok…. Lots of unsupervised kids. Second night we stayed was very noisy. Kids jumping off the beds in the room above us til 1030 at night. Parking right outside our room was lovely but big noisy diesel work trucks should not be allowed to park right up to the building.
