Great place to stay

Clean and quiet

Thank you for your feedback! We apologize for the inconvenience regarding the TV in the bedroom. If you had informed us during your stay, we would have been happy to send someone to fix it promptly. Additionally, we want to clarify that the property was not advertised as having an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is located in the hallway, conveniently positioned for all three bedrooms. We hope this helps for future reference.

Sweet little lake cottage

It doesn’t look like much when you pull up to the front, but as soon as you step inside, it’s beautifully decorated, attention to each detail and you will find all the essentials you need for your stay! The hosts have done a great job here. We thoroughly enjoyed our time!

Ark trip
Publié le 15 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home itself it beautiful and was very peaceful. One downfall was A LOT of spiders in the home! The home was clean but definitely doesn't get deep cleaned. Webs all over in the corners of rooms and bathrooms with quite a few spiders. We had to go around cleaning because my younger daughter was scared to go to sleep.
Also, we were looking forward to the lake but this home is not situated in a nice area to swim at all. Very run down dock and gross water. Again TONS of spiders covering the stairs and broken dock because the area is not kept up. Such a shame because if they took some time to fix their dock , clear some brush and make it nice it would be perfect.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re glad you enjoyed the peaceful setting of the home. We do have monthly pest control, but due to the remote area, some critters, like spiders, still manage to find their way inside. We’ll be sure to address the webs in the corners.
As for the dock, I want to clarify that it’s actually brand new. The platform you mentioned is debris that a recent storm brought close to the dock, and we’re currently working with the city to have it removed.
