We loved it!
Publié le 1 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family spent New Year’s at the home as my husband was playing at the Drytown Social Club nearby. The house was clean and the property is beautiful. The house was comfortable and bathrooms updated. We didn’t see or hear any mice but it is on a vineyard so I would not have been surprised if we had. The bed I slept in downstairs was comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the wood stove and TV in the living room and played games at the large dining table. Joe and Janet were very accommodating and easy to get a hold of when we had questions. We loved our stay and would book this house again in the future.

You and your Family were some of the best quests ever. I returned to the home Wednesday and found the home clean and organized. The floors were clean, kitchen and bathrooms clean, used linens properly placed outside the laundry room.
I hope your return at some point, and we stay in touch.

Nice views
Publié le 27 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayQuite property. Did not spend a lot of time on location. Beds squeak way too much. Mice in walls may keep you up at night. Actually they will. Shower was interesting. We did walk the orchards during the day for some very nice views.

Good property but not well maintained

There was a dead rat in the master bathroom.

Wonderful Getaway!

Wedding weekend

I suggest wiping down the whole house prior to tenants arrival (really bad). I suggest getting rid of the unhealthy mold throughout the master suite bathroom.
We took one bottle of wine and left a check per the owner .
The house was as dirty as I have ever seen a VRBO entering the home. The refrigerator was disgusting. They had a lot stuff in the refrigerator which made our stuff to put away confusing. My daughter saw rodents and heard rodents all night long. The whole house had pet hair throughout the home upon arrival. The lock box number was not the number in the instructions. There was a pump of some sort that went off intermittently throughout the night.
The back deck was very impressive, however there is a dangerous loose board on the deck where a guest could injured if not careful.
The location was terrific but very hard to find. Google Maps takes you to a locked gate.

We have never received a one star review. This renter was part of a wedding party. After they departed, our cleaning person sent us a long text concerning the condition of the home.
Included in the text and a verbal phone call were the following comments.
- the bedding and the kitchen were filthy
- the bar chairs and the coffee room chairs are gross
- I ran out of time, I was literally there so long, she had to return for additional cleaning
- substance on bedsheet that didn’t come out in one wash
- brown spray that was hard to clean on surfaces, and also on curtains in one bedroom
We asked the renter for some additional money to clean, replace curtains, and potentially replace some bedding. She was outraged and denied everything we brought up. After text messages back and forth, we decided to drop the request for additional cleaning.
Then, a week later this review. This really feels like revenge from an individual that will take no responsibility for the condition of the home, and no willingness to compromise or resolve the issues.

Mother of the Groom
Publié le 30 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayOverall it was a wonderful stay and would go again. A little hard to find with iPhone maps, but Waze worked better. The place was more secluded than I thought, once we got the hang of it it was fantastic. Loved sitting by the fire pit outside every night, and looking at the dark sky, with all the stars. Had a little issue in the beginning regarding clean sheets, but the property owners were extremely quick on responding and accommodating! They were the best.

Beautiful serenity
Publié le 27 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayHere 4 days for work. The house is well taken care of and it was nice having coffee on the patio in the grape vines. We enjoyed a bottle of the house red watching the deer in the fields.
