Noisy at times. Someone there with a dog that they left in the room and barked non-stop. Outside very long grass in front of building. Microwave not cleaned in all the days we were there. Concerns over "slot machines" with outsiders entering the building that are not hotel guests.

Don't care for the lobby anymore. Looks "cheap" with the slot room addition. Outside could be managed more. Very large weeds need to be removed and grass cut.

The grass outside the front of the building was extremely long. We were there 4 days and the last one it finally got cut but grass was blown all over the sidewalk so could not walk on it without tracking it into the building. The microwave was also dirty. I told a "man manager" about it one morning but never got cleaned the whole stay.

Not a bad place to do a short stay, Just don't expect to much. The Price is Great for where it is and What you get.

This place had a premium price, presumably due to location right next to the fairgrounds. However, there were the following deficiencies:
--The room was marginally clean (dust and dirt in the corners, under the desk, etc. It was if only the center of the room had been cleaned.
--There was no room service available. If you wanted/needed fresh towels or bedding you had to trade-in your used for fresh at the front desk. That is not the end of the world, but it is also something that was either advertised or supports the premium pricing.

DON'T STAY THERE
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HotelsIt was awful. The hotel is outdated. The shower tub was new and VERY slippery, nothing to prevent falls, NO grab handles to get in or out of the tub. The lighting was dim, probably so you couldn't see the condition of the room. There were no bed bugs but there were bugs because the room was very humid. We did ask for maid service for more towels and they got right on it while we were gone. Said Open Bar but they had nothing complimentary and the kid working had no idea what drinks were....asked for a wine, that was on the counter, but he had NO idea what it was. We went to Walmart and got us wine coolers, which were a lot CHEAPER!!

There were issues with the AC on the main floor. A portable unit was in the lobby area....and was not vented outdoors. Pumping 68 deg from the front of it....and 125 deg out the back back into the room. They need to read the directions on things.....and have regular maintenance done on included items. Our smoke detector had been taken down as well.
