VERY GOOD LOCATION METRO NEAR BY
Publié le 26 sept. 2016 sur HotelsFor a luxury 5 star hotel in DUBAI WHICH HAS SOME OF THE BEST HOTELS IN THE WORLD I would expect much better.
NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ORIGINAL CHAIN as you expected of a luxury hotel
as a frequent visitor there are other places for similar prices with much higher standards or service and quality.
I didn't find Shangrila to be living up to it's name . This one in Dubai is NOT A 5 star international rating hotel.
The hotel is going through renovations right now, didn't really matter THE FRUSTRATING PART ....
1 ) room, although a great size it was not deamed as luxury as their other hotels around the world.
definitely needs a refurb and new décor, , carpet, SOFAS need to be completely replaced,
A) poor bathroom , single sink ,has not a separate shower just an old bathtub
B) Very bad smell from the the pipes
C) smell of cigarette smoke. ( WE ASKED FOR A NON SMOKING ROOM)
2 ) indoor pool is not ALLOWED to every gest (SENSELESS ) HA HA HA NEVER SEEN IN OTHERS HOTELS !!!!

Amazing stay and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Shangri-La to any families traveling to Dubai. 5-star all round!

The location is amazing, easily accessible by metro to rest of Dubai. The staff from the doormen to the waiters to the chef exceptional team!! Would highly recommend and would definitely return!!
