Slight smell to the (single) pillow. The remote for the split system did not work. Turned it on at the wall and it was set to 26 degrees but still only cold air came out. Wifi was non existent even though the password was in the room. Room was damp in the cold morning

We were looking for cheap and cheerful accommodation for a quick overnight stay enroute to a funeral. While downstairs the pub has been done up quite nicely, the room itself was poor: the fridge handle was broken, the toilet wasn’t clean, the desk had rubbish from previous guests, and the beds were poorly made, which didn’t inspire confidence. But we thought: you get what you pay for! Instead we should have walked out, as the worse was yet to come: I woke up the next morning covered in bites on my face, hands and arms - which have caused a severe allergic reaction. They look very much like bed bug bites. Needless to say, I will not be staying here again!

Good customer service. Queen room was basic, bed was comfy and pillows. However was very noisy from bar below the room and other guests. Dorm like style. I wouldnt stay again

The room smelt old/musty, we found 3 live cockroaches and plenty of bugs crawling around in the fridge. Mattress was too hard and uncomfortable, doona looked uninvitingly old.
It was noisy(can hear everthing happening outside our room) and music was played until very late at night.

Shared bathrooms are not very clean and smell bad

Dinning and staff nice.
Cleanliness of the accommodation was very poor. Shower leaking badly. Powerpoint hanhing off the wall. Bedside light damaged, could be dangerous.
