Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Disliked: Staff & service
Stayed one night. Cheap stay. Convenient location. Close to the River Liffey & Temple Bar (can catch the Dublin Express to/from the airport, for much cheaper than taxi/Uber, from just across the Liffey). Plenty of locker space, but bring a hefty lock or you might need to pay €7 for a new one that fits. Room has its own separate toilet and shower. Towels need to be rented for an additional fee (seriously?!?!) and they don’t put any hand towels in the bathrooms to dry hands. Beds were average and doona was small. Two lifts available, but extremely slow!! Stairs were faster to use!
Staff member (green fine line tattoos around eyes) was extremely ignorant & disinterested upon check in. Left me standing at the desk for almost 10 minutes whilst she tidied up the coffee machine, then went to talk to another guest instead. Wasn’t friendly at all when she did finally come over to check me in. Customer service needs a big improvement, from my experience!
One of the guests was having an episode or on drugs because he either kept screaming in the middle of the night or would say really weird stuff like, “Oh yeah…that’s the stuff.” We told him to be quiet and he didn’t say anything. Then he’d start calling out our bed numbers. At one point, he tried to crawl into my bed. I asked what he was doing and he slinked back into his own bunk.
Management was completely useless and told me I should’ve gotten out of bed and got security. I didn’t even know they had security. But don’t they screen people?
There were zero accommodations or offers to compensate or even an apology. It just got turned around on me for having an unruly bunk mate.
Also, you get nickeled and dimed for everything. There are no locks on the cabinets (and our “friend” kept trying to go through them). I had to buy a junk padlock which could easily be broken off if you’re determined. You have to rent towels too; there isn’t anything in the bathrooms to dry your hands with. (I’d suggest the bedding, honestly.) I can’t mention prices here but know that they’re ridiculous.
I get it’s cheap, but what’s with these prison conditions.
You get what you pay for. the room was clean and newish but many power outlets didn't work. So charging was an ongoing challenge. The area outside the hotel is very rough, after dark it is risky to walk alone. I slept goof 5 out of 6 nights so I guess I can't complain too much although one night there were people entering our room and unpacking all night long. I didn't eat there but the food looked good enough. Elevators were VERY crowded and there was a wait for them every single time.
Lovely vibrant hostel, the communal areas have entertainment and food and drink, someone’s there around the clock if you need anything. The rooms are safe and clean and the beds are comfortable. Will definitely be coming back.
Had a simple double room. No TV. Had options near by for the same price with TV and Breakfast included. Although, it is a hostel and there was a good atmosphere. Employees were great!
Has the bare minimum whish is all you need. Private bathroom amd private 2 bed room is what we booked. The bathroom smelled really.weird. Also someone nabbed my bavita biscuits i left out which was 2 days of breakfast for me. Staff are super nice. Space works if you only plan to sleep there.

The washrooms are not cleaned daily and floor not swept ...just emoty the garbage. The security harrased us while sittingnin the lobby asking for ID ...we are guests staying so found it rude of him ...
The staff members were amazing. Very friendly very approachable. Charlie was the best given us advice on where to go. Very laid back hostel and felt very safe during our time there.
