Such a Cozy Cabin!
Publié le 9 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our long weekend here! The owners were very friendly and responsive. The property has everything you need and more. The biggest plus is its coziness. Between the open room and the great porch with pretty views of the lake, I finished a whole book. Kind of don't want to leave too good of a review because I want to keep it a secret! We WILL be back! (Note: as others have said, the cabin is not good for people who cannot do stairs)

Cozy Mountain House for VT Football
Publié le 4 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderful stay with friends for a VT Football weekend. Cabin was very cozy, and the porch was wonderful for sipping coffee in the morning or wine at night. We would recommend for any getaway! Just a heads (if traveling with children), the bedroom ceiling is not fully closed off to the rest of the house.

Amazing olace to stay
Publié le 31 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house had everything we needed. The lake was awesome and as a kid i played with Linkin logs and this was a house you would have built. The house was very clean very private we plan in using this house again. Great for VT students as well only 30 min away.

Publié le 10 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe stay here was wonderful. There was a lot of communication ahead to tell us they were expecting us. There was communication after arrival to see if we needed anything. Honestly I have never felt more cared about in any location that I stayed. It was a bonus to have paddle boats and extra water gear on sight that we could enjoy. The one thing is there were a lot of steps. We didn't mind that at all as we were on the side of the hill. My husband booked this so it may have already been in the listing.
The cabin was cozy and we loved the stay.

Perfect place on the Lake.

Cabin on the lake

My only concern is lots of steps for someone who is having knee surgery or an older person who may have issues with lots of steps.
We really enjoyed our stay. They are fully stocked with everything you need.
Love the added touches, the kayaks and paddle boards. Extremely nice owners! Can’t wait to visit again!

Great Lake Cabin!!

The host has paid attention to detail and made this a relaxing retreat. It was very clean and had all the kitchen supplies we needed. Would book here again.

A relaxing cabin with a little workout
Publié le 28 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy brother and I stayed here for a few days in the spring as a nice break from work and to get in some fishing. The cabin is equipped with everything you need whether it be a short or long stay. There are plenty of pots, pans, and cooking utensils. You have a full kitchen at your disposal with a good size dining table and there is also a washer/dryer if you need them. There is plenty to do in the area, but there is also a TV with satellite service and a bunch of board games for rainy days. The property has a nice grill and a couple fire pits for roasting marshmallows with the family. There is also a wrap around deck with enough seating for the whole family to relax on. The only negative was that there are a lot of stairs to get down to the water, over 100 from the parking spot. Thankfully my brother and I looked at it as a way to get a decent workout in as we had to carry our 100lb+ kayaks down all the stairs plus all our fishing gear. The hosts are very responsive and checked in a few times to make sure our stay was great!

Spring Break Get Away

We visited Virginia Tech and the Cascades while we stayed.
We highly recommend eating at the Mason Jar that is right at the end of the road.
