Lovely, Comfortable, Clean, Well-Equipped and Quiet
Publié le 10 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayI stayed here on a business trip to one of the Dubuque universities. It was in a perfect location - close to the universities in a nice nearby neighborhood. The updated brick ranch home was very tastefully and comfortably furnished with everything I needed - well-equipped kitchen, fast wi-fi, very comfortable bed and furniture. Extra touches like nightlights, an electric fireplace, cozy sheets and bedding made it a perfect place to stay. It was very clean and everything was in great working order. The host was very responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. The self check-in and check-out was easy and quick. My only regret is that my family didn’t join me as there was plenty of room inside and a huge fenced backyard with chairs to enjoy the outdoors. Definitely one of the nicest small homes I have stayed at in Dubuque. Added bonus is that it is accessible with no steps. I hope it will be available for my next visit!

Girl’s Trip

We are glad you enjoyed Dubuque. We just added a new full length mirror, a new lamp in the master bedroom for additional lighting and a new desk in the 2nd bedroom plus a bunch of fun Halloween themed pillows. We are glad we were able to give you free early checkin and ice cream treats too.

Great place if traveling with a pet
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place was wonderful with only one exception (see below). The fenced yard was huge and our dog loved it. The place is in a great location and very quiet neighborhood. The only negative is it didn't have central air and the window air conditioner was very loud. We left it on when we were out to cool the place as it was too loud to watch TV or chat with it on. It was in the high 80's-90's when we were they so it was definitely needed. Otherwise a great place and great owner.

Thank you for staying at our place and glad you enjoyed the big back yard.
We have been making strategic investments in the property to continually make it better and better. Gut rehabbing the house came first. Then fencing the huge back yard, repaving the driveway and creating a patio were tackled next. Our listing mentions that the air is via window air conditioning but we are hoping to get central air on the docket ideally before summer 2025. We will update the listing when this is completed.
We have had many return guests who love our place. Thanks.

Great little getaway
Publié le 9 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed at this house with 2 friends while competing in dragon boat races on the Mississippi. It’s pet friendly and has a nice fenced yard with a great sitting area. You can tell this has been newly updated and while compact, the three bedrooms gave us privacy. The living area was comfortable and I was impressed with the amount of games that were provided. Best of all was the host’s responsiveness to questions. Very good communication and a delight to work with.

Home Away
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home was very clean and provided everything we needed. We thought it was a very cute, well decorated and comfortable home. We came in town for a wedding and were 7 minutes away from everything we needed to access. (We didn’t know that at the time). The host is very friendly and more than accommodating!

Perfect home close to everything in Dubuque
Publié le 16 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis home is lovely. Such a great layout. The updates are so great and the fenced in backyard is a game changer for our dog. The outdoor patio is perfect for hanging anytime of the day. The location is perfect and will definitely stay again and again!
