Pleasantly Surprised
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HotelsI have staid in different motels and really didn't expect much from this one because other motels were musty smelling and just didn't feel clean. At the Allyndale I was so surprised and pleased. It smelled very clean and fresh, the beds were very comfortable, bathroom was very clean and the towels were soft and fluffy. The room was very spacious with a good sized fridge and not little like the other hotels. It even had a nice round table where you can eat. Oh yes, and it also had a microwave. Overall We were very very happy with our stay and would stay again in a heart beat. Great job Allyndale. I wasn't paid to write this. This is from my own honest experience.

The water that came out of the tap was yellow. The carpet was from the 1950s and very worn. The shower did not work. The air conditioning did not work. There were no amenities.

Area is pretty. Facility is old. Was ok for the prices in the area. No amenities. Note in room says coffee and breakfast in lobby but lobby does not open till Saturday at 10am. Need to update the notices posted in room.

Good for a quick stay

The best thing was it was quiet & the mattresses were good, but they need new pillows!

Carpets were stained, as well as the chairs. One of the chairs the wooden legs were bent. Toilet leaked at handle. Black mold on ceiling of shower. Bed was comfortable. Bedding old, one of the little pillows were yellow stained. The place wasn't dusty. Bathroom clean. Way too much $ for the quality
