There was no hot water in the shower, only warm. Tv remote didn’t work very well. It didn’t have batteries when we arrived and we had to ask for some, but still didn’t work very well. There were wires all over the room. The lamp was unplugged and you could see a hole in the carpet where people had moved the table to plug the lamp in. The sink was barely big enough for one person. Definitely not an excellent rated room as shown on Trivago. I was kind of leary because it was a Quality Inn but trusted Trivago. I definitely will do a little more research next time.

We stayed two nights here. Once on the way out of Texas, and again on our way back. Both were horrible. The first night was super hot because the a/c is bad. The second time we were on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. What? No elevator? I’ve never heard of that at a supposed 2 star hotel. Why do they even have luggage carts if there is no elevator? Then the room seemed okay but when we turned on the a/c it made the room reek of cigarettes (and it was still hot). I told my wife we should just drive home since it’s only six hours left but we’d already driven 9 hours that day and she just wanted to sleep so we stuck it out.

The room keys never worked, we had to get new keys every time we left our room. It was a nuisance. Loud blaring music was allowed in the parking lot for hangouts for what seemed to be long term tenets. The air conditioner didn’t work in either rooms we booked - no compensation was offered for such a horrible time instead the explanation of these things just happen. Well I have never needed new room keys 10 times for a two night stay.

Restful stay

Restful stay. Bed was comfortable Shower was very difficult to turn knobs for some reason and water didn't drain. Breakfast had a good selection.
