Never have I been so insulted
Publié le 1 oct. 2024 sur HotelsWe had our carpets cleaned and didn’t want to stay in our home yesterday so we decided to stay at the hotel for the the night. Well the person at the desk said that they don’t rent rooms to people who live in the same town and insinuated that we were going to do something illegal. Because people that lived in the same were up to no good

Each hotel has its' own policy regarding renting to guests that live within a 50 mile radius. I didn't mean to insinuate any illegal behavior on your part. It's important for hotels to have policies that help manage the type of gatherings that occur on their premises. Asking about the reason for a stay helps to maintain that balance ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all guests

The room was clean. Lighting in the dining area was terrible. We asked the girl at the desk to turn on the overhead lights, but she didn’t turn them on. The breakfast was lame.

I'm sorry you were disappointed with breakfast and the lighting. We have 25' high windows that face east and if it was a rainy day or overcast, the sun light is not as bright as usual. I did speak with the clerk that was on duty and she remembered you and said that she turned on the recessed lights but the chandelier and recessed lighting does not add much light during the morning and is barely noticeable over the natural light.

Always my favorite place to stay in Duncan, OK. Matches or beats the more expensive hotels in terms of service, cleanliness, and overall property condition.

Super friendly staff, helped with anything we needed. The con was that there were definitely bugs in the room.

Thank you for taking the time for your review. I'm sorry that you had an issue with your stay. We have had some cricket problems this summer. They wait under the entrance doors for someone to open it. I think they feel the air conditioning. We would have been able to change your room if you had called the front desk. We try to catch them but a few get away from us sometimes. Its always worse during the beginning of the summer, and it has lightened up a lot since you have been here. Hopefully your next trip will be cricket free.
