Donegal Vacation
Posted Aug. 11, 2024 on HomeAwayThe Snug was absolutely perfect as a home base to see all of Donegal’s sights. My wife and I absolutely loved The Slieve League and St John’s Point. Sheila was fantastic in answering all of my questions and making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The little corner market only steps away was a lifesaver in regards to getting little things we forgot to pack. And if you stay in The Snug, make sure you make your way to Donegal town and eat at The Olde Castle Bar and Restaurant - they had the absolute best venison and seafood pies.

The snug
Posted Jul. 12, 2024 on HomeAwayGreat location. Spacious and reasonably well appointed. Seems to be getting a bit tired but overall worth visiting.

The choice of TV channels was pretty thin, but we weren't there to watch TV.
Would have appreciated a non-skid mat in the bath.
Stove top is due for a clean.

Traveling through NW Ireland
Posted Oct. 9, 2023 on HomeAwayThe Snug is in a good location to see Slieve League and the Glenveagh National Park. Be sure to check out Kelly's Kitchen for the best seafood chowder around!

Wonderful find!!
Posted Jul. 1, 2023 on HomeAwayWe loved "The Snug"! This was the 3rd vacation rental on our trip and this one is by far the best! Spacious, very well equipped with lots of small extras (DVDs, travel guides, games, etc) great pub close by and good location for activities.
Thank you!!

Dunkineely
Posted Apr. 17, 2023 on HomeAwayThe only issue is that you have to cook your meals or drive to Killybegs which has good restaurants.
