Annoying Rooster at 6am
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at this property in 2023 without issue. This year, there was a rooster who crowed every morning at 6 AM. It was annoying, and did not make the stay fun at all. People couldn’t sleep. Not only that, but there were other issues that have made this an unpleasant experience. We will not rent this property again!

We apologized for any inconvenience the neighbors rooster caused. It was explained that the neighbor had taken the young rooster in as an emergency rescue and he was moved before the end of your stay. As for the “other issues “ you had asked to book for another year until you realized it had been booked by someone else. The real issue here is that you brought more guests than you had booked for and have refused to pay for them. In the end, we will NOT allow you to stay in the future due to NON payment.

Perfect for family visit
Publié le 21 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was perfect for visiting family in Van Buren Point for a 90th birthday celebration. The cottage was clean, kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and the host was very responsive and welcomed us upon arrival. We had four adults and a baby and could have fit a few more. Would definitely book again!

Enjoyed our stay very much. House was great. Host left us some welcoming things, loved them.
The only problems were the host didn't get in touch with us about check in procedure until 4pm the night before, web site says 3 days before check in. Also host left paper work for registration saying they would come get it. Never came.

Close to the Lake
Publié le 14 août 2023 sur HomeAwayIt was exactly what we were looking for. There is a covered porch on one side and an uncovered porch on the other. Which was a nice spot to have your coffee in the morning. Having two bathrooms was the selling point for us. The beds were very comfortable.

Family reunion
Publié le 7 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe cottage was nicely equipped, very clean, comfortable, and worked well for us. The owners live next door and so they were readily available if we had had any questions or problems, which we did not. They have marked the grassy right of way that leads to the lake access, about a five minute walk.
