Great location
Publié le 6 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was perfect for my family. We were there for 10days. It was really nice to be close to the lake. It had great yard space and amenities. There were plenty of towels to be used and the best stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates, and cooking utensils I have ever seen. I had one suggestion to the host for an item to be stocked in the house. It was a laundry basket. The host said they would have one ordered and sent to the house. The host is very responsive to messages. We had a great experience.

Day at the beach
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage was cute and very close to the beach. We basically had the beach all to ourselves. The cottage did smell as if someone had smoked in it previously and the hose was broken so it was hard to clean off sand after a long day spent at the beach. Overall, would recommend it!

Thank you for the 5 star review! For some mysterious reason, after it rains the house has a similar smell to smoke sometimes. We cannot figure it out! We do not allow smoking in the house and we have noticed the smell when personally staying here but only sometimes after it rains. We were not aware of the hose being broken, we will order a new one! We hope to host you again.

Lots of thoughtful details
Publié le 19 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is clearly cared about, and the host has put thought into making one's stay a good one - the kitchen is very well equipped, there are plenty of clean towels, and lots of blankets for chilly evenings. It could have been cleaner (there was debris under the bed and more impressive cobwebs than I'd expect from somewhere that had been cleaned recently) but we would certainly stay there again.

Relaxing getaway

Cozy Lakehouse in Great Location
Publié le 2 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay at the Lakehouse in Dunkirk, NY. We always try to stay here when we go home to Dunkirk. The house is located in a fantastic location, just yards from the lake and by one of the city parks. The beds are comfortable and our grandson loves the bunk beds. Everything we needed was available including a washer, drawer and hot tub. Communication is great and and the hosts are very accommodating. Thanks so much for having such a nice place to stay.

2 day GETAWAY!
Publié le 23 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely loved Steps From The Beach! The hot tub was divine. House was so comfy, we could live there! The beach was close although we didnt realize the state park was there and so many vehicles, although we were private. The Roku tv difficult for us Seniors, but oh well!!!!! Overall a relaxing time.

Would suggest updating the porch/fire pit furniture and picnic table.
