Perfect trip on Harbour Island
Publié le 14 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayBamboo House was a great location for our first trip to Harbour Island. There is a bank, drug store and liquor store directly across the street. We used a golf cart for transportation but also walked to dinner and to the beach as everything was really close by. The house and guest houses are darling and very comfortable for our group of 7. The kitchen was well stocked and they provide drinking water as you cannot drink the water from the tap. There are fresh towels dailyfor the bathrooms and the beach. We loved having a cooler available to pack for the beach and we rented chairs and boogie boards from Ms. V’s, daily. It was all so convenient and the Pink Sand Beach was more incredible in person! Olga and Dolce do a wonderful job taking care of the house. Our checkout was at 11 and they showed up to clean for the next group at 9, which was very awkward as we were all trying to shower and get ready but you could tell they didn’t have an option. Be prepared that there is very little hot water. We all set timers for 3 min showers so that if there was hot water it wasn’t used by just one person. Even with that, out of the 6 nights we were there, there was enough hot water for 2 people to get a hot 3 min shower so we just rotated who got to shower first. If you know this going in, then you can be prepared as our youngest was 12 so she could handle a cold shower. We loved having a washer and dryer. Overall our stay at Bamboo House was incredible and we would rent here again.

Pascale the owner was very responsive during our stay. The house was very clean and felt like home away from home. We would recommend the house and excited to return soon!

Charming and delightful hidden gem!
Publié le 2 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayIncredibly clean and well maintained, including updated kitchen and bathrooms. Bright happy decor and very comfortable beds! Separate cottages layout make this ideal to share with multiple generational family. We will definitely stay at Bamboo house again!

Phenomenal spot for a family
Publié le 22 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was the perfect spot!! Highly recommend! Noise was not an issue at all, our 6 month old was able to nap and sleep through the night (even with Junkanoo practice passing by outside). Everything was perfect!!!

Our Getaway at Harbour Island - Bamboo House

From the moment we opened the beautiful wooden doors to our gate, we were welcomed into a private, tropical oasis. The courtyard greets you with lush plants, a plunge pool, and a beautiful table for to enjoy breakfast. Inside is equally beautiful as well as cozy and welcoming. The welcome gifts were personal and thoughtful and ensured the kids had a great time at the beach swimming in the ocean. The kitchen provided all that we needed to prep breakfasts and lunch. The beds were amazing and provided the perfect nights sleep after a day of playing in the ocean. And to make it extra special, Miss Olga and Mr Dolce were so warm and kind, with extra help with keeping the house beautiful, assistance with laundry, and letting us taste fresh coconut from the beautiful palm trees. Without a doubt, when we come back to Harbour Island, we’ll be coming back to Bamboo House.

We had a great stay at Bamboo House. It was perfect for 4 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday as each person had their own room! Communication was great and Olga and Dolce were wonderful. We all agreed that we would love to come back again!

Dream Vacation

Olga was so beyond kind, replacing towels and cleaning each day. Clean beach towels was a must! We loved the location. It was quiet and secluded. The dip pool at the end of the day was refreshing. We look forward to staying at Bamboo House during our next trip to HI!

Amazing first stay in Harbour Island!
Publié le 13 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely loved Bamboo House! It was the perfect first introduction to Harbour Island. It's centrally located to anything you could want to see around the island yet somehow still feels tucked away!
The property grounds are beautiful and quiet. The walls surrounding keep out the outside noise, and make you feel safe and secure in an unfamiliar country! The plunge pool was the perfect way to cool off after coming in from the beach, and we spent so much time on the patio hanging out for dinners in.
The house itself is a home away from home with a comfortable living area and fully stocked kitchen! The beds are SO comfortable and Olga took great care of us for the entire trip to make sure we had fresh linens and made beds.
I couldn't reccomend Pascale, Olga, and Bamboo House more! We'll be back for hopefully many more family trips to our new favorite place :)
