Romora Bay Resort & Marina is a little tired. Our original room was #6 we had to move because the rooms had carpenter ants and was very dirty. It looks like the rooms have not been cleaned in weeks. (Dusty, old dead insects and a smelled very musty and wet) The bed was comfortable and after we moved into room #8 we were happier with the extra space. Similar to room #6 the rooms need a good cleaning with a Vacuum.
We decided to stay at this property because of the proximity to the Marina and We met one of the executives at the PB Boat Show and he spoke so highly of the property. I was really taken back by how unclean the whole property was including the marinas ice area having old fish and bait left in the freezer. Garbage was left around the property and a light was knocked down on the ground and it did not seem like it was getting fixed any time soon. The check in process was easy and the Hotel allowed for an extended check out time. Everyone on the island including the hotel staff was very nice and provided excellent service.
It seems like Romora Bay Resort & Marina is no longer the charming marina it once was the bungalow style rooms and outdoor showers. I we will not be returning unless significant changes to the room cleanliness and upgrades around the property have made.

Ashley, I do apologize that you did not have the stay you intended on having and the stay that we would have wished you to have. I wish you had addressed these issues upon your check out to the agent so we could have fixed them sooner. I can assure you this is not how the property normally is. We do wish that you would come back so that we can show you what Romora Bay is truly known for and give you the experience that you paid for and deserved.

Positives: Great place/Great location. Super friendly staff.
Room for Improvement: Thinking our room may have been touched up recently due to the sloppiness of drops of paint on the floor and door knobs.

Expected more for the price

Not willing to help and when asked for the coffee manager said he will send itbutnever got it!!
On top of it they didnt make any breakfast which makes us leave every morning to get our first coffee!!
Everything is overpriced in the island but it would be worth if they care about guests!!!

We understand that at the time of year you visited, it is off season and many places on the island are closed for the month. Loved the privacy of the cottages. Staff was friendly and accommodating . Bed and pillows were great!! Nice pool overlooking at the ocean . No beach on premises however they are everywhere in the island. Pink sands my fav. Overall had a great fantastic time. Restaurant not part of the resort is amazing. Great Italian food. Romoras grill and bar is also very good. This time it was closed due to low season but we have had drinks and appetizers ,lunch and it was very very good.😀
