Lovely wee getaway for a few days rest or a walk 🚶♂️
Publié le 27 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayLooking to getaway for a few days this is the place with quiet spot along side the river bank and lovely walks beside you close to the town (couple miles ).if you need it and local store with all you need the only interaction we had was with the birds and the red squirrel (tuffty) who came around for a visit regularly great place for a short rest 😀

Quiet and peace in the forrest
Publié le 17 nov. 2019 sur HomeAwayThe property is lovely. We had a really nice, quiet and peaceful stay in the lodge. We had everything we need and could fully enjoy our stay.
Stephen and Liz gave us nice advices to enjoy the Cowal Peninsula. We will definitely come back!

Perfect getaway
Publié le 16 juill. 2019 sur HomeAwayPerfect getaway for two. We wanted a relaxing break and that's what we got. Lodge was small but perfectly adequate for our needs. There was a busy road behind us but it didn't bother us too much. We sat out ( weather permitting) and watched life on the river, a little family of ducks, a heron ( we think) and daily visits from a red squirrel. Will definitely be returning soon. Didn't get to meet Stephen and Liz as,we had everything we needed but hopefully meet you when we return. Linda and Michael

The cabin was cosy and perfect for the 2 of us, well stocked with everything we needed.
