Amazing cottage next to The Clyde
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place is for people who love peace and quiet and privacy, we do. Noise from the road is almost minimal, perhaps if you sit in the front garden but we spent all time in the back garden watching sunrises, ships passing by, listening to bird songs early morning, fishing from the private beach. Location worked well for us, we used our car to get around, nearest supermarket is in Dunoon about 15 minutes drive away. The property is well maintained, decorated, comfortably furnished, heating, WiFi works perfectly, kitchen is fully equipped, l couldn’t find fault. The en-suite master bedroom upstairs is amazing with stunning view to The Clyde. Having two bathrooms is very convenient, although it was just two of us, house would be suitable for two couples as well.
Outdoor space and private beach area is awesome.
We drove up to Oban, Loch Lomond, Callander, I wish we could’ve stayed longer.
Communication with Patrick was great, also check in/check out info. Thank you for having us.

Fantastic!
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely loved our stay at Bihar! The house is wonderful (so many high quality amenities) and the view even better. The weather was quite bad, so the house was a bit cold, but fine with a bit of heating turned on. Nevertheless, we took a couple of dips in the water. We saw seals and submarines, unfortunately no dolphins or porpoises.

Scenic Location
Publié le 9 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful part of the country. Amazing views over Firth of Clyde and beyond the Holy Loch with the Kyles of Bute in the opposite direction. Fantastic spacious cottage with everything you could need and stunning views from the lounge and upstairs master bedroom. The cottage has a lovely feel to it with large gardens front and back with access to the pebble shoreline. Just love the area around Dunoon. Patrick is also a great host.

Relaxing by the Sea
Publié le 22 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayAs advertised Patrick’s home is right on the water. It was great seeing Dolphins playing in the morning. We took the ferry with our car and it was great. The house was spacious and very clean. It takes a bit to get the various European electrical devises figured out but we managed well. The hiking in the area was fabulous. Pucks Glen is a must see for anyone. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

Watching the Clyde
Publié le 4 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis visit was all about returning to a well loved area. The cottage was the perfect spot, with good sized comfortable rooms which let in the beautiful outdoors and lots of light. A well stocked kitchen made food preparation easy. Most importantly, the Clyde was there in all its glory.
