Lovely holiday accommodation
Publié le 3 août 2019 sur HomeAwayThe house was lovely, set in a secluded area but not too far from a town. Everything has been thought of to make the stay enjoyable and the arrival tray of bread milk and cake, was very welcome. Fresh flowers were also a nice addition.
The Bothy provided the ideal base for discovering the surrounding area of the Borders and Northumbria.
The owners were not intrusive, but were available should we have needed them.
It was easy to book the accommodation and communication between the agent was excellent.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again.

Comfortable country retreat
Publié le 5 nov. 2018 sur HomeAwayLovely quiet location in the countryside with nice walks around about, accessible to the Berwickshire coastline - you could open the door and go straight out for a walk, or at night just look at the stars. A very dog-friendly environment. We had a nice meal in the local pub - probably walkable in the summer, also not a long drive from Lindisfarne. Very comfortable accommodation with everything that we needed. Nice to sit outside and have a coffee in the sun during the day, and sit in with the fire in the evening. The hosts were very welcoming and provided a nice welcome pack which was much appreciated.

The perfect place for a couple to chill out.

The owners, who live close by, are non intrusive but are delighted to offer advice or help if needed. Perfectly situated for exploring either the coast or the lovely border towns or, if you prefer, to just chill out and relax in. I would certainly recommend this holiday let to others.

Loved it. nice an clean and the views from lounge were excellent
